TASTE THE BEST, AUTHENTIC NASI PADANG IN BUMBU BABAH, KL
#favouriteitinerary
Bumbu Babah in KL serves the best, authentic Nasi Padang to you, you don't have to fly to Padang, Sumatera.
Located in the bustling Melawati Mall's Food Empire, this gem offers a killer selection of dishes, but the star is definitely the Gulai Urat.
The tender, chewy urat drenched in rich coconut yellow gravy is pure heaven.
Add the fiery red sambal balado and the zesty green sambal ijo, and you're in for a flavor explosion !
All this deliciousness comes at a super affordable price, making it the hottest spot in town right now!

Monkey Canopy - Sg Long
Very unique and beatiful decoration by the restaurant. They had 2 session lunch and dinner.
A bit pricey but worth to try. Their food taste i can recommend 7/10. Not spicy at all for thai food. But the decoration of food very nice and fantastic. Staff 100% friendly and very helpful. They provide buggy for people not able to walk. Please give it a try! 3/5 star #100WaysOfTravel

Upon my arrival on the weekend, nearly every food is sold out- pasteries, meals and others

Everything cost about RM 45
I rate it 4.4 🌟
Plus, they have both indoor and outdoor setting!

GooGoo GaaGaa Malaysia
Interior was exquisite, when I asked the barista about it, he mentioned it’s because the owner is an interior designer, well that makes sense! Really nicely decorated space, though might look a little elitist to some haha
Ordered a cuppa iced latte and a pesto pasta. Pasta was really good even though presentation could be improved, looks too plain. Iced latte was nice but not strong enough imo.

ZOO NEGARA: Kuala Lumpur’s Breathing Jungle
*Where clouded leopards stalk through mist-cooled enclosures, hornbills swoop over suspended skywalks, and the roar of Malayan tigers syncs with the city’s distant skyline. Step into 110 acres of rewilded wonder.*
You enter as morning fog clings to fern-carpeted paths. A white-handed gibbon’s cry shatters the silence—its call answered by the whoop-whoop of siamangs in the distance. Sunlight filters through the Canopy Walk, dappling shadows on leafcutter ants marching below. At the Malayan Tapir pool, a keeper tosses water apples; the calf’s striped snout nudges your palm. You sip teh tarik (RM5) from a bamboo cup, steam curling with the scent of wet earth, as a Rhinoceros Hornbill swoops overhead, wings beating like ancient drums. This isn’t exhibition—it’s Peninsular Malaysia’s beating wilderness, where rescued sun bears, pygmy elephants, and painted terrapins reclaim their narrative.

The Duchess Kitchen
Found a nice little cafe in Sungai Jelok called “The Duchess Kitchen”. It is a small nice and cozy cafe run by a young family. The owner was friendly
They don’t have much food offering, but we went for the Kedah Laksa and banana leaf nasi lemak. The nasi lemak was good the laksa hmmmm so so but ok.
We tried their recommended coffee, a latte and mocha. Not bad. Not presented in the barista style, just in normal ordinary glasses but it don’t need the fancy toppings and coffee art, coffee was nice
Oh, forgot to mentioned that they play really nice Kazz music. If you are looking for a place to relax have a simple meal and enjoy some music and coffee with friend, this is a really nice place. Quiet not many people, cozy and nice
And, they sell cookies made from Belgium chocolate too. We didn’t order the cookies but the owner was nice enough to belanja (treat us) to a few pieces of them. It was good.
Place to relax and chilllll 😁

A magical nighttime performance of sound and light - LaLaport BBCC & TUAH 1895
The exteriors of LaLaport BBCC and TUAH 1895 add a touch of glamour to Kuala Lumpur's nightlife. As the sun sets, this area, home to both modern and colonial architecture, is enveloped in a mystical light, transporting visitors to another world.
The "Music Fountain" performance, in which the fountain dances in time with the music, is truly a sight to behold. The art of light, water, and sound, woven together under the sparkling night sky, is a thrilling sight to behold. The contrast with the classic architecture of TUAH 1895 is also not to be missed!
Experience a romantic evening weaving together the old and new of KL with #AbsolutelyFreeTravel.

✨A Layover That Felt Like a Vacation – My Amazing Experience at Changi Airport ✨
I recently had a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, and let me tell you — it was far from ordinary. In fact, it was one of the most unforgettable airport experiences I’ve ever had!
The moment I arrived, I headed straight to the iconic Jewel Changi, and wow — I was completely blown away. Standing in front of the Rain Vortex, the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, surrounded by lush indoor gardens under a giant glass dome, I forgot I was even at an airport. The atmosphere was calm, refreshing, and honestly, magical.
I also explored the Canopy Park and had so much fun on the suspended sky nets and getting lost in the mirror maze (which was way more fun than it sounds!). Even the resting areas felt luxurious — super clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed for travelers who just want to relax.
There were so many food options too — from authentic Singaporean cuisine to global favorites — and I even treated myself to a free massage at one of the airport’s relaxation corners. Can you imagine? A free massage… during a layover!
What impressed me most is how Changi doesn’t just operate like an airport—it feels like a destination on its own. There’s even a butterfly garden, a cinema, art installations, and themed gardens throughout the terminals. Every corner holds a surprise.
I used to think of layovers as a hassle, but after this experience, I actually hope I get more flights through Changi in the future. If you ever have the chance to pass through, don’t just rush to your gate—explore! Trust me, it’s worth every second.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Highly recommended as a must-experience airport, not just a stopover!

Midday Makan Spot for Local Favourites — KW Food Street, Pandan Indah
#summervacay #KWFoodStreet #PandanIndahEats #LocalDelights #HawkerFoodKL #LunchHunt #FoodieStop #MalaysiaMakan
The place is KW Food Street at Pandan Indah
I went there in the afternoon and was surprised to see quite a few stalls already open. It’s not a night market, but a proper hawker center with a wide selection of local favourites — from curry noodles and chicken rice to herbal soups and fried snacks. The vibe was relaxed, mostly locals grabbing lunch or tapao. I enjoyed the casual setup and took my time browsing what to eat. It’s the kind of place where every dish feels like a familiar taste of home.
Travel Tips & How to Get There
• Located at Jalan Pandan Indah 4/6, easy to spot from the roadside
• Afternoon is less crowded, good time to beat the dinner rush
• Hawker-style setup, with shared seating and open-air layout
• Ample food choices — perfect for a quick lunch or light bite
• Nearest LRT: Pandan Indah (20-minute walk or short Grab ride)
• Limited parking nearby during peak hours, best to come early
