Drifting Couple's Hiking Share ① Munich Geroldsee
On the first Saturday of November, we set off from Klais and spent half a day hiking through three lakes: Geroldsee → Barmsee → Grubsee. The route is easy, but the scenery is stunning. No need to drive, light packing is enough, it’s the kind of Saturday gently healed by nature.

The route map is shown in the first picture, very clear and easy to follow.
💧 The scenery of the three lakes is completely different, so you won’t get aesthetic fatigue along the way.
① Geroldsee|Meadow × Lake × Snowy Mountains = Postcard Scene
We started at Geroldsee and were captivated at first sight.
The meadow is wide open, the lake surface is as still as glass,
and in the distance is a very clean snowy mountain line.
📸 The easiest lake to take great photos of, looks good even without filters.
② Barmsee|The Largest Lake
When the wind blows over the lake, a layer of fine sparkling waves appears,
giving a feeling of “peaceful yet full of vitality” that is especially pleasant.
📸 Perfect for resting and chatting with friends.
③ Grubsee|“Movie Forest” at Dusk
By the time we reached Grubsee, it was starting to get dark.
The forest was completely quiet, only the sound of the wind could be heard.
There was a bit of a “thriller movie atmosphere,”
which made the whole hike feel especially story-rich at the end.
🐂 The natural scenery along the way is a huge bonus
The trail between the lakes is the most relaxing part of the entire route.
Along the way, you’ll encounter slowly wandering Angler cattle,
and a few wooden cabins scattered by the roadside, like a small village from a cartoon.
Looking up, there are snowy mountains quietly accompanying you in the distance.
As you walk, you suddenly realize:
Hiking can be this simple and this beautiful.
