Mt. Pulag - Playground of the Gods
#gohiking
Reaching the summit of Mt. Pulag is one of my best hikes ever since I started outdoor activities 10yrs ago. Having to see the sea of clouds during sunrise is an awesome experience which you may never forget.
Summiting Mt. Pulag is easy and anyone even without hiking experience but physically fit can go via the Ambangeg Trail. There are lots of tour companies offering several climb packages from Baguio and Manila.

The highest peak in Luzon Philippines
Mount Pulag is the highest point on Luzon, therefore it's no surprise that it's regarded as one of the Philippines' most beautiful and best hikes! The peak ascent is moderately challenging and takes around five hours each way.
The mountain summit, understandably (it being a mountain, after all), is where the trekking truly shines, as you get to stand above a sea of clouds, affording a view unlike any other in the Philippines. It's crucial to remember that this area is prone to sudden cold spells and temperature decreases, so be sure to dress appropriately before going on the hike.

Malico Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Magnificent View!
#localescapes
Welcome to Malico the mountain village of San Nicolas, Pangasinan. The village and its name are shared by the towns of San Nicolas in Pangasinan and the towns of Sta. Fe and Sta. Cruz Bagabag in Nueva Vizcaya. People go to Malico to enjoy the cold weather and the scenery. When we went there the weather was so unpredictable. As we were riding up, it was sunny and it suddenly changed into dark clouds. We wanted to enjoy the view more and ride more but we decided not to do it as we were afraid to get caught by the rain and the place is prone to landslide so we were kind of anxious. It's much better to come here during Summer so you don't need to worry about landslides or whatsoever. We would like to come back here again. And take note you don't need to pay for anything here. It's definitely a good place to explore.
