Oman is located on the Arabian Peninsula, bordered by the United Arab Emirates to the northwest, Yemen to the south, Saudi Arabia to the west, and the Arabian Sea to the entire east. Compared to the oil-rich countries like Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, Oman is as low-key as an infp. The public security here is also good, and the country is stable without any wars, it is a country worth traveling.

At present, there is no direct flight in China, usually transfer in Dubai, so you can fly to Dubai first, then go to Abu Dhabi, and then fly to Oman from Abu Dhabi. It is said that you can take a bus to Oman from Dubai, but the operation is more troublesome to buy tickets on site, so this method is not recommended, it's too troublesome.
.

📍Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque
It is the largest mosque in Oman and the third largest mosque in the world. Free admission, but it seems to be closed on Fridays, everyone can understand in advance, you need to wear long sleeves and trousers to go in, ladies also need to wear a headscarf!
📍Royal Opera House
Closes at 15 o'clock, the ticket is 3 rials, friends who are interested in opera art must come here to see
📍Market Mutrah Souq
Here you can find a lot of interesting local specialties, remember to bargain!
📍Nizwa Castle
Oman is known as the country of a thousand fortresses, and Nizwa Castle is the oldest fortress in Oman. The best shooting time is after 4 o'clock, it won't be very hot, but the light is soft, easy to film, and you can see the super beautiful sunset.
.
⚠Travel tips:
1, Remember to prepare a plug converter
2, It is recommended to find a larger exchange point to exchange currency, airport exchange is not cost-effective
3, The phone card can be bought at the airport
4, If conditions permit, it is recommended to drive by yourself, car rental and fuel costs are not very expensive, navigation can use Google

Wadi Shab Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Wadi Shab in Oman. A great hike with nice swim
It's so peaceful, natural, and relaxing to hike in this valley (wadi in Arabic) the water is beautiful and you can definitely/must swim in it The hike is 3 out of 5 when it comes to it's difficulty. And if you really want to reach the end you need to swim a bit to find the waterfall It's like an adventure. You need to pay 1 Omani Real (20 RMB/ 3$) to pass the water by boat to enter the Wadi. Apart from this no need to pay anything else. Watch out when you hike and take some water with you. Try to go early morning around 8 as it gets hotter and more crowded later. They whole hike go and back could take you up to two hours. It's around an hour 45 minutes drive from muscat. Enjoy #oman #muscat
Oasis between the valleys
Wadi Shab is one of the most popular attractions in Oman, for good reason. The journey involves a boat ride, a canyon hike through azure blue waters, swimming along multiple pools and then finally a waterfall in a cave! If all this sounds a little exhausting, do not fret – it’s an easy, beautiful day trip with no need for a guide. Shab’ translates to ‘gorge between the cliffs’, which is a perfect description. The hike reminded me of southern Utah, but with the added beauty of perfectly blue pools. #Travel #trip #oman #nature
Aman's Super Wild Niche Canyon | Mountain climbing and water outdoor adventure spot!
Wadi Shab is a hidden treasure spot in Oman
Here has the beautiful emerald green water
At the same time, it also combines the canyon caves
If you like outdoor adventures, this mysterious spot is perfect for you
-
🚣Arrival method:
After arriving, you need to take a ferry boat to enter the jungle secret, 1OMR round-trip ferry ticket, and there is also a 15OMR guide to lead the full-line tour
•
⛰️Scenery along the way
The beginning of the road is gravel, without tree shade
The road ahead for 20 minutes is more sunburned, but you can feel the very primitive side of nature
The emerald green trees, flowers and a variety of wild animals make this place more pleasant
When you come to the canyon,
Because deep into the canyon, it is very cool and comfortable
The canyon blocks the sun on both sides, and there is a clear and bottomless natural pool in the canyon. The color is emerald green and looks particularly good
•
🏊End of hiking
The end is the waterfall and the pool. If you bring a swimsuit, you must go for a swim in the natural pool. Jump into the clear and transparent water, swim freely in the rushing river and play happily. If it is summer, it is more appropriate. When you get to the pool, jump in and melt all the heat into the water.
If you don't bring a swimsuit, you can stop hiking when you encounter a water crossing section, because the karst area inside requires swimming to reach the waterfall endpoint
-
♨️PS: Bring good sun protection, sunglasses, change (boat)
📍Positioning: Wadi Shab
Wadi shab
A bit of hiking to reach the pool. Beautiful and worth the hike. Dont forget to bring some water and sport shoe. Swimming clothes.
