This is actually a good place for young children. Lots of interactive science play. I just hope they can keep the place neat and working especially the exhibits. All in all it was great. Tickets were cheap and the children were adequately occupied. everything is so fun. This National Science Centre (Northern Branch) is located near the Paddy Museum about 12 km from Alor Setar. It is an interesting and educational place to visit for both the young and the old. There are many types of interactive displays and activities in various themed galleries to try, explore and be fascinated with. There is even a small cinema for a short 3D viewing. Visitors can try rock climbing, moon-walking and cycling on a tightrope. The entrance fee is low, between RM1 to RM3 only.
