#newyearnewtrip A week before 2024 ended, we held a short family vacation at Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur as the price was reasonable, given it was a 5 star hotel located near the heart of Petaling Jaya. The hotel is within walking distance (uncovered walkway) to Phileo Damansara MRT which connects directly to One Utama Shopping Mall. While the hotel offers spacious and clean rooms, some may feel a bit dated in terms of decor. However, the comfort and cleanliness of the accommodations make up for it. The breakfast spread was reasonable, offering a variety of options that provide great value for the price. Service during breakfast is particularly noteworthy, with staff providing attentive and friendly service. Overall, Eastin Hotel strikes a good balance between affordability, comfort, and service, making it a solid choice for both short and extended stays.

#urbanwanderings Lovns Coffee in One Utama Shopping Mall will be my one of the best coffee spots in Petaling Jaya area! At first we were skeptical about the dark roast coffee mix (Thailand + Brazil), but little do we know, their Lovns milk come with a little hint of sweetness that blend well into the dark roast. They were the first r-PET Ice Insulated Coffee Cup in Malaysia, meaning they will serve you a cup of nice iced latte, but not putting ice into it, not diluting the amazing drinks until you finish it. Strongly recommend to try it out!

#urbanwanderings Came to One Utama Shopping Mall and got to know there is a new café opened not long ago, it is Coffee Meets Pastry by Zus, located at Ground Floor but facing the main road out there. It is also close to the famous Flow Rider spot where people get to play surfing on a artificial sea waves. This café looks modern minimalist where they do not put up a lot of decoration but every corner is well designed in a way that make customers feel cosy. There are also a couple huge croissant displayed as a photo taking spots. Recommended!

#malaysiatrip Personally love this place after we decided to try it out after we found it while walking in One Utama Shopping Mall. Overall experience is like 10 out of 10 as me and my husband found a new best place for our cup of wonderful coffee. If the taste of the coffee is all matter to you, this is for sure a place for you too as the ice is separated with the coffee in the cup and you dont have worry that the coffee will be diluted with melted ices!! Not to mention the croissant is surprisingly nice!! In term of price, it is a little bit too pricey for me at RM 25 for a cup of latte + croissant but…as long as the crave can be satiated, its all worthy!!

#malaysiatrip Coffee meet pastry is recently opened in the 1 utama shopping mall by the Zus Coffee offering a spacious minimalist designee space for the customers to enjoy cups of good coffees with plenty options of pastries!! The shop is very eye-catching as there is a huge croissant in front of the counters making it an instagrammable cafe to take picture with. Visiting to the mall during weekend, this is a new place that you can spend time with your friends or love 1❤️

The room interior has combined the Victorian style and Malay design, which makes the room very nice and stylish. It is as if we have traveled back to the Victorian era and stayed in the luxurious hotel at that time. Room is very spacious and clean, and all amenities are available. Breakfast is also available with lots of choices, and you can walk to The Curve as it is located beside only. This is one of the best hotel you can find in Damansara, and we will definitely come back again.

It is pretty rare finding a restaurant inside a mall selling Kelantanese cuisine, but Deli Way serves up a good variety of good Kelantanese and local cuisine at reasonable malls price point and above average taste. You can even get Roti Canai here. Seatings are available outside and inside of the restaurant. Parking is easy as it is part of the mall. Serving local delights with wide range of food such as nasi lemak, fried noodles, toast and half boiled eggs, this café has lots to offer! The café has both indoor and outdoor seatings, spacious and airy! We ordered their Nasi lemak served with crispy fried chicken which was really good! Nasi lemak was fragrant and well cooked with coconut milk and pandan leaf, love the condiments included like egg, fried anchovies, sambal, cucumber. Goodness in a bite!

ESCAPE PJ located in Paradigm Mall, Petaling Jaya, is a paradise for obstacle courses lover like me! This indoor extreme adventure park is a perfect place for you to challenge your physical limits. You can be an acrobat by attempting back and front flips on the trampoline. You can be a Spiderman by climbing on walls or a monkey climbing up a tree. You can be a kid again by playing all day from 10 am to 8 pm! The main highlight in the park is probably the high rope courses. There are 3 different levels, each with 2 different routes. It may take up most of your time there if there is a crowd. If you have a fixed date to visit the park, it is better to buy tickets online as early as possible. The earlier you buy the cheaper the tickets cost. You can get 30% discount if you purchase tickets more than 61 days in advance. #travelanywhere
