It is a popular island resort with a huge crowd of people because of visa-free access and direct flights, and the relatively affordable prices in Vietnam. It is not inferior to Phuket, Koh Samui and Bali, and is very suitable for a mindless and relaxing vacation. This time we stayed at Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay. The quality of Crowne Plaza is quite good, especially at the seaside, it has a resort feel. You can overlook the Bai Dai Bay from the hotel room, which is a plus. The hotel has complete facilities, including an outdoor swimming pool, spa, gym and beachfront restaurant. You can also enjoy fire dance performances and sunset views, which is quite chill. Otherwise, it is very convenient to go out to Fortune World for food, drinks and entertainment as there is a free shuttle. The standard sea view room is 40 square meters in size, and the best thing is that it has a balcony facing the sea where you can enjoy the sunshine and sea breeze outdoors. The price for two people including breakfast is about NT$5,500, which is moderately acceptable for a five-star resort hotel. The facilities are impressively clean and there are many activities offered within the hotel. The staff sometimes felt a bit rough but were very friendly. We had a beach suite on the first floor with direct access to the swimming pool. Our room view was blocked by the back of a sandy beach cafe, but the room itself was large and clean. The layout of the hotel is well thought out with all amenities nearby. You can get cash out at the reception. It is cheaper to order a Grab through the app than a taxi at the reception. There is also a board at the reception with the hotel activities and kids club activities for the day. There are no sunbeds on the beach and pool, so you need to get in early to secure a spot. Overall, it is a very family-friendly resort that provides a luxurious customer experience. We had a fantastic time at the resort! The hotel is new, everything is clean, and the hotel is located next to the beach. The staff were especially helpful at the Amber Sands restaurant, which is definitely worth a visit. We wanted to eat more fish because the island is famous for it, and the dinner was customized for us. Don't hesitate to ask, because customer service at the resort is excellent, and they do everything to make sure you enjoy your vacation! The hotel bar is also worth a visit. Tien, the young lady, is laughing, friendly, and very professional in making good drinks, cold wine, beer, and being customer-oriented again. We went for a massage at the spa several times during our stay and were positively surprised by the quality of the service we received. It's worth a visit during your stay! I wanted a getaway. Away from being woken up by my alarm set every morning at 7am and away from catching buses and going through bad traffic. Phu Quoc is just the right hideaway from me. With a barely an hour flight from Ho Chi Minh, but an hour's drive from Phu Quoc Airport, Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay Hotel was the right decision I made. I stayed for four nights and enjoyed every single day of it. The room, the sincere hospitality of the staff, albeit language differences, and the beach made my stay near perfect.#phuquoc

That was the best decision i ever made! I just love everything about this hotel from the room, the hospitality, the pool(its huge and clean!), the beach(its very clean!)My kids love them and the kids club! it was just an amazing experience for all of us. The breakfast spread was also great.Although we are muslim, there were still plenty of food to choose from! My family and I enjoyed our 13 night stay here. We experienced great friendly service and enjoyed all the amenities. Although we did not participate in the hotel daily activities, it was great to have the option. Far from the airport but close to Grand world which has restaurants, gift shops and bars decorated in a Venice canals theme. The breakfast was delicious and well organized. Great job to the general manager Winston for clean facilities and capable staff. He wrote us a handwritten letter detailing the many activities the hotel and local area offered, much appreciated! We plan to stay again next year.

Here is why - We communicated slowly with the restaurant hotel staff that we want a vegetarian meal, they specially made request with the chef and fulfil for us! The best part is the food quality is tip top and really delicious. We ordered vegetarian pizza and pad-thai, Not to mention, the restaurant and the room we stayed is beach-front facing, endlessness of ocean, ocean and ocean!

#hotelreview When we booked this IHG hotel, we did not know what to expect as it was our first time exploring the northern side of Phu Quoc. Location-it is nearer to VinPearl side and a bit far from other attractions in Phu Quoc. If you are first timer looking for quiet relaxing time in Phu Quoc, this might be an option. Room-new with modern decoration. Being Crowne Plaza property, personally I feel it lacks some kind of character or charm in the room itself. However, the ocean view is so awesome as we were blessed with good weather. Since everything is brand new, it does not feel crowded here as most tourists would have chosen to stay in city centre or Vinpearl. Overall, will come back if the price is right.

We had an amazing time at Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay. We stayed in a beautiful room and the staff were incredible. They made our stay even better. The pool, beach, food, drinks and setting were all can better then we had expected. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a romantic holiday as this is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Thankyou very much for the best stay!
