I went to "PANORAMA TERRACE 1059" at Jukoku Pass, which reopened in August 2022. When you reach the summit on the Jukoku Pass Panorama Cable Car, you'll be greeted with a spectacular 360° view✨ The newly built Jukoku Pass monument and Mt. Fuji look great. The Jukoku Pass Panorama Cable Car between Atami and Hakone has been renovated! Jukoku Pass is a tourist spot located at the entrance to the Izu Skyline on the way to the Izu Peninsula. It is a scenic spot where you can see Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, and Sagami Bay. There are many souvenirs unique to Shizuoka Prefecture! Fujiyama Cookies are a popular souvenir because the boxes are cute, so I always buy some to take home. Piriuma radish is a product that seems to be available anywhere, but it is surprisingly difficult to find the same taste. I always reach for one for myself. Once you enter, you will see a souvenir shop and a restaurant. It is very interesting to visit. The second floor is the cable car boarding area. It runs every fifteen minutes. You need to buy a ticket first. The cable car is not long. After going up, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains. Unfortunately, the weather was not good that day. It was foggy when we went up, so we simply took pictures of the landmarks of Jukokutoge and went down the mountain. I visited TENGOKU CAFE located at Jukkokutoge in Hakone! Here, you can enjoy delicious café menu items while taking in the stunning views. I tried the Mont Blanc made with Shizuoka tea and the Fuji Mountain Latte. The matcha Mont Blanc was incredibly rich and flavorful—absolutely delicious! Jikkoku Pass is located on the border between Shizuoka and Kanagawa prefectures. On a clear day, you can see 10 countries (former names of countries), including Mt. Fuji, the Izu Peninsula, and Sagami Bay. As the name suggests, there is a 360-degree panorama, and you can enjoy beautiful scenery that changes with the seasons, so we recommend taking a leisurely stroll with your camera. One of the attractions of Jikkoku Pass is that it can be easily accessed by cable car. Once you get on the cable car, you will arrive at the summit in no time, so you can enjoy it safely even with children. There is also an observation deck and souvenir shop at the top of the mountain, where you can check out the famous sweets and local specialties. Seasonal flowers and autumn leaves are also highlights, so it is a perfect place for those who want to enjoy nature. Jukkoku Pass is located between Hakone and Izu, standing at an elevation of 765 meters. From the summit, you can see the historical ten provinces of Japan: Izu (Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture), Tōtōmi (western Shizuoka Prefecture), Kai (Yamanashi Prefecture), Suruga (central Shizuoka Prefecture), Shinano (Nagano Prefecture), Sagami (central Kanagawa Prefecture), Kazusa (central Chiba Prefecture), Shimōsa (northern Chiba Prefecture), Musashi (eastern Kanagawa Prefecture, Tokyo, Saitama Prefecture), and Awa (southern Chiba Prefecture). On clear days, you can even catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji! You can take a bus from Atami Station to the cable car station, and then ride the Jukkoku Toge Cable Car to the summit in just about 3 minutes! Besides the stunning views, you can also enjoy hiking, luxury camping, and local delicacies here. Unfortunately, the cable car was under maintenance on the day of our visit, so we couldn't go up.

It was a great place to get a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. Parking was free. There were lots of souvenirs, which was nice.
