Petaling Street - Teresa Teng's favorite shop ~ Jin Lian Ji
Located at the entrance of an alley in the bustling Petaling Street Chinatown, I didn’t do much research, but I ended up visiting Jin Lian Ji by chance! I once read that it was Teresa Teng’s favorite shop when I was browsing the internet, so since I was lucky enough to visit it, I decided to go there to satisfy my hunger!
We arrived a little late, so the crowd was not as big as rumored. We didn't need to wait and could be seated directly! The traditional Chinese restaurant tables and chairs are quite tasteful. The menu is also quite Chinese!
I ordered the must-order Fujian noodles and rat rice noodles, the must-drink herbal tea, barley, and silk stocking milk tea that were recommended online!
The black Fujian noodles don't look like a delicious meal, but in fact, they are very thick Fujian noodles, and the noodles are quite chewy~ The clay pot mouse noodles are named because the noodles look like a mouse's tail, and they are indeed a delicacy chosen by the superstar Teresa Teng~ The rich silk stocking milk tea has a strong tea aroma; the herbal tea is much better than the herbal tea in mainland China (for my own taste... not too sweet, just right), and the barley water feels very good at reducing edema, a healthy drink!
It is indeed a restaurant worth visiting, but the price is quite high, much higher than other street food. It is acceptable to try something new!
