It's time to check in to the accommodation. This trip, there were 5 of us, so we booked 2 rooms, one for 2 people and one for 3 people, for 2 nights. The accommodation is a 2-story building made of cement and wood, decorated simply and pleasing to the eye. For the bathroom, whether it's a room for 2 or 3 people, the hotel designed it the same way. It is divided into 3 zones: the sink zone is in the middle between the shower room and the toilet, the shower zone is on the right, and the toilet zone is on the left. It was very chill and relaxing. The next morning, we watched monks collecting alms on the streets of Luang Prabang, and I couldn't help but think how life could be so serene. Vang Vieng in Laos is also a paradise for outdoor adventurers. My friends and I climbed Motorbike Mountain and visited two lagoons. Spring is a great time to visit Luang Prabang as the temperature is neither too hot nor too dry and flowers are blooming everywhere. I especially like taking walks in the market and then finding an open area for outings and fun. In the morning it’s a vegetable market and in the evening it’s a small night market. The food is delicious and not expensive. In the spring in Luang Prabang, Laos, life seems to surge with every breath. Walking in the alleys of this ancient city, traces of history and modern life coexist harmoniously, as if time has become slow and peaceful here. In the early morning, when the first ray of sunlight falls on the roof of the ancient temple, the golden light illuminates the whole world. I walked briskly through the narrow streets and alleys, looking for the unique charm of this city. The street stalls are filled with a wide variety of tropical fruits, exuding an enticing aroma. This is my second time in Luang Prabang. What are the special attractions worth visiting? I don't think so. Compared with the surrounding Southeast Asian countries, Laos' tourism resources are too poor. But it has a magical power that makes people slow down unconsciously. I want to stay here quietly for a whole day or a week. Even a month. This is a good place for staying in the hotel, daydreaming, and slow traveling. The original Royal Palace was built in 1904 and was abdicated in 1975 by the Pathet Lao, who took over the government of Laos.
