However, eager to first appreciate the style of the cherry blossoms on Ziyang Street, I did the opposite and went up the city wall from Xingshan Gate and down from Lansheng Gate. The view from the Xingshan Gate city wall is particularly beautiful, overlooking Ziyang Street, Cherry Blossom Avenue, Jinshan Pagoda Cluster, the distant mountains, and the clear sky.
