[2025 Kuala Lumpur Restaurant] Travel Guide for VCR Ritchie (Updated Jun)

Have been wanting to try the place when I first saw it open. The service was decent but the price of the food does not commensurate with the food quality or portion size. The flavours are fusion (a blend of east and west). They gave a free peanut cake which was a really sweet touch. Not sure if it's something they do all the time. I don't think taste & innovation wise in flavour profile, it is out of the ordinary. I love the design of this cafe, no need to talk about their coffee as it is always good to my taste and it is located on calm neighborhood giving out the chill vibe. VCR Ritchie sprawls across the street level of the Ritchie's Pavilion low-rise condominium building. Different from the other VCR, VCR Ritchie's design is deliberate and distinctive - it was initially meant to have a modern Middle Eastern look, but it now edges closer to North Africa. A very cool and calm corner at first before the crowds jumped in, making it a bit "noisy" with chatters. Still a decent place tho. I still like the food at the VCR BB tho, especially the sausage. The sausage here tastes a bit bland to my liking. Overall it was okay. I pricey breakfast spot in a serene neighborhood.
