First Time in Shanghai? Don’t Miss These Spots
Alice takes you on a tour of Shanghai.
Shanghai is a city where the old and new come together. It’s a great place to visit, full of exciting things to see and do.
Start your trip at The Bund, where you can see beautiful old buildings and look across the river at the modern skyline, including the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai Tower. It’s a great place for a walk and taking photos.
Next, visit Yuyuan Garden, a peaceful place with rocks, ponds, and traditional Chinese buildings. Nearby is the Old City God Temple Market, where you can try local snacks like xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) and shop for small gifts.
If you like art and history, check out the Shanghai Museum with ancient Chinese art, or visit the Power Station of Art for modern artworks.
For shopping, go to Nanjing Road for big brand stores, or walk around Tianzifang, where you’ll find small shops, cafes, and narrow alleys with a local feel.
At night, you can take a Huangpu River cruise to enjoy the city lights, or relax at a rooftop bar. If you want more fun, go to Xintiandi, a popular area with music, clubs, and restaurants.
No matter what you like—history, food, shopping, or art—Shanghai has something special for you. If you’re planning to visit Shanghai, feel free to leave me a message.🤗#shanghaitrip #shanghaifood #shanghai #familytrip #localguides #historicallandmarks #deliciousfood
