Mokkh Garden Bangkok
Today, I escaped the chaos of the city and came to practice Dhamma at Suan Mokkh Bangkok.
Suan Mokkh Bangkok is located in Suan Rot Fai, in Bangkok itself. It was built in 2009.
It was built to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the coronation of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great.
It was built with the intention of Buddhadasa Bhikkhu to help people like us reach the heart of religion.
When we enter Suan Mokkh, we will find the peacefulness of big green trees by the pond. There is also a coffee shop called Jai Yin Dee in front of Suan Mokkh. The coffee is delicious and inexpensive. Light roast and medium roast are both 50 baht.
The ground floor consists of a curved stone courtyard for practicing Dhamma in front of the Bodhisattva, which is full of images of the life of the Buddha that are replicas of the first set of images of the life of the Buddha from India. In the middle of the curved stone courtyard is the Avalokiteshvara statue, which is a replica of the concept from the meditation courtyard at Suan Mokkhaphalaram, Wat Tharn Nam Lai, Surat Thani Province. There is a book and Dhamma media room. Which is a collection of Dharma studies and works of Buddhadasa.
The 2nd floor is the Paticcasamuppada Garden. Inside, there is the Nirvana Chim Long exhibition room.
The Dharma practice room and seminar room have the teachings of the monks that remind us in every step we take.
There is a room called “Nirvana as I know it.” When you walk inside, you will find a large hall.
For those who want to rest their minds and meditate, it makes you feel calm, shady, cheerful, and light.
The 3rd floor has meeting rooms, archives, offices, research rooms, and exhibition rooms.

To summarize, today I came to Suan Mokkh Bangkok and got peace of mind and spirit without having to travel far. The space inside is well organized and there are many activities to choose from. There is both a library and a place to practice Dharma. It is suitable for city people who want to be close to Dharma.
