Attractions - Zhangjiajie park, Hunan restaurants, local cultural performances, river, cafes, bars. It’s convenient to stay here if you want to see the attractions in the area. There are busses going directly to the Grand Canyon the park gates and Zhangjiajie. Hotels - many to choose from, clean hostels, boutique hotels or home stays, Wulingyuan has it all. I left my accommodation at 7 AM and purchased a 4-day multi-pass ticket, which included free access to cable cars and elevators for four days. On the first day, everything was free. Once facial recognition was registered, there was no need to show my passport—just a quick scan of my face and I was good to go. Traveling has become so convenient! I highly recommend visiting Heaven Pillar (Hallelujah Mountain) in Yuanjiajie—it’s amazing! Since I was on a 2-day itinerary, the owner of my accommodation provided detailed guidance, which helped me have a smooth first day. Taking my time to explore, it took about 6 hours. Tomorrow, I’ll be heading out early for the Huang Shi Zhai tour, which the accommodation owner marked as a must-see.
