Arrive at Shanzi Pier around 11:30 PM, then board a luxury speedboat. In just 45 minutes, you’ll reach Taishan’s Xiachuan Island, the "Pearl of the South China Sea"! The island boasts a natural seaside beach stretching 1,600 meters, with crystal-clear water and soft white sand—a true paradise for vacation! Lunch is served at 12:30 PM, followed by hotel check-in. Xia Chuan Coconut Groves: Full of rich Southeast Asian charm. Use the curves of the coconut tree trunks to compose your shots, photographing people leaning against or strolling through them; use the coconut groves as a backdrop, and add camping props (tents, picnic mats, etc.) to create a relaxed atmosphere. 3. Mi Rock: A great place to watch the sunrise. Off the coast of Taishan Daguan Bay Economic Zone, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, there is the Chuan Island Tourist Resort. The scenic area is mainly composed of Shangchuan Island and Xiachuan Island. The two islands are located on the blue South China Sea, 6 nautical miles apart, facing each other from east to west, and each has its own style. This time I chose to visit Shimokawa Island. The island has beautiful scenery, with fishing villages and rice fields. It is very suitable for walking on the waves and playing on the sand, and enjoying the sunrise and sunset. Accompanied by the coconut trees on the shore and the sea breeze, it has a unique flavor. You can rent a Keppel car to travel around the island and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. There are also many seafood stalls here where you can taste fresh seafood at a high cost-effectiveness. There are different kinds of resort hotels to choose from. The beach is very lively at night, with barbecue stalls, singing and dancing, allowing you to completely put aside your busy work. Get into the holiday mood. No wonder it is known as the "Hawaii of the East"

Xiaochuan Island is a pleasant place for tourism and leisure. Sometimes when it's too leisurely, I feel like giving myself something to do, so I rented a motorcycle with my friends and raced all the way to the top of Windmill Hill. In the end, it was just me being too adventurous; the ride up the mountain was bumpy, and my butt was nearly wrecked, which was hilarious. ⚠️Important Notes⚠️ 📍Navigate to the flagpole peak 🏍Rent or bring your own motorcycle to drive there, or ask a local friend you know well to take you 👭🏻Go with a companion, because the roads leading up are all mountain roads, and it's good to have someone to look out for each other As the name suggests, Windmill Hill is a hilltop for wind power generation, so there's a lot of wind. The scenery is beautiful, but safety comes first! And most importantly, protect the environment. Leave no trace and take your trash with you.

|Shimokawa Island. Address: Taishan, Jiangmen, Guangdong Province, 2 hours from Guangzhou. Navigate to Shanzui Port Terminal. 2 Transportation: Park your car at the pier parking lot, 30-40 yuan a day. Don't drive to the island. Not only is it expensive, but you will also miss a lot of things. There are electric motorcycles for rent everywhere on the island for 60-100 yuan a day, and pink convertible jeeps for 200 yuan/2 hours. It is so comfortable to ride or drive along the beach. ③Tickets: Buy online in advance or on site, the package price of 210 is very cost-effective (bring your ID card). Includes round-trip boat tickets (1 hour, 45 minutes by boat), ferry bus (one boat, 20 minutes by boat, don't rush to catch the bus after getting off the boat), and tickets to Wangfuzhou scenic spot. No queues in off-season. 4. Choose Shangchuan Island or Xiachuan Island: Both are great. Xiachuan Island faces west, with better sunsets and coconut groves; Shangchuan Island is larger, facing east, with better sunrise views and Windmill Mountain. But the package ticket for Xiachuan Island was 210, and the package ticket for Shangchuan Island was 185, so I went to Xiachuan Island based on the principle that you get what you pay for. 5 Accommodation: There are many B&Bs and hotels on the island, and the quality is similar, none of them are particularly high-end. The holiday hotel I stayed in was newly renovated and a bit better, costing 350 per night. The hotels are very close to the beach. 6 Time and weather: I think the most important things when going to an island! May 1st to National Day is the peak season, especially during the short holidays, don’t join in the crowds. March to April, October to December are the off-seasons. Although many water activities are not available, there are basically all the fun and food to eat, and the temperature is just right, neither hot nor cold. There are fewer people, lower prices and a better experience. The most important thing is to go on sunny or cloudy days. You will miss a lot of scenery on cloudy days. Don’t go on rainy or typhoon days. 7. Food: Affordable seafood is everywhere on the street. The two of us had four dishes for 220 yuan. ⑧ Fun: take photos at Wangfuzhou Beach and coconut grove, water sports, watch the sunset at the pier beach at the end of Dong'ao Village, watch the sunrise at Miyan in the morning (remember to check the sunrise schedule), rent a car and go for a drive on the beach (you have to rent a car to watch the sunrise and sunset, it is recommended to rent an electric motorcycle), buy fish from fishermen in the evening, rent a boat to go out to sea, catch seafood, eat barbecue on the beach (the cuttlefish sausage is amazing), the most beautiful beach is at Niutang Bay (you can have breakfast and watch the beach at "Zhu Tou Mei" on the way back after watching the sunrise).
