They have kindly upgraded us to rooms next to elevator with balcony for better ventilation. Even at lower level the view of Taipei is unbeatable. We like the wooden floor much better. Because of renovation at the separate bldg, they’ve used strong aroma to cover the smell. That side has carpet floor which will suit some of the travellers. A few boutiques at main bldg, selling special fashion & accessories. Hope we could stay for longer next time to read the exhibition at V floor. Those are precious history of how the hotel has developed since 1940s. Buses to Jiantan only operates on weekends- we as Japanese cannot read the sign & waited in the wind for 10+ min. Luckily a lady asked the concierge & figured out what’s going on. We took taxi instead.

The hotel offered free parking which is great but was a bit difficult to find the parking entrance due to the constructions going on around the hotel. Location was nice, in the city center and peaceful nearby. The buffet breakfast was amazing, a variety of choices from western cuisine to local cuisine. The room was clean and neat as well.

My stay at FX Hotel Tainan completely redefined my expectations for a budget hotel! The location is absolutely superb – Chihkan Tower and Guohua Street Food District are just a 10-minute walk away, and the Shennong Street cultural and creative area is also within easy reach. Just a left turn downstairs and you'll find a 7-Eleven; to the right, there are famous Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice) and beef soup restaurants. For late-night cravings, heading straight to Bao'an Road Night Market was pure bliss! ✨ The mattress had just the right firmness, and the bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area. 🚗 Transportation is incredibly convenient too! It's only an 8-minute drive from Tainan Railway Station. Overall, it's perfect for budget-conscious travelers who still value quality. all staff are vy vy polite and helpful,room is big,clean but in old style,wifi is terrible,it blocks a lot of app/website inclue(poltical,sensitive content,adult porn) it means wifi is useless,limited choices of buttet breakfast but in good quality

We had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel and would happily come back again. The room view was superb. Waking up to it each morning honestly set the tone for the day. The bed was comfortable, which made a big difference after long days out. We slept well throughout the stay. The location is another big plus. It is convenient, easy to get around, and close to key amenities, which is especially helpful when travelling with family. Overall, this hotel ticks all the right boxes. Comfortable, well located, and family-friendly. Highly recommended for families looking for a pleasant and hassle free stay.

We arrived at the hotel and were warmly welcomed by the staff, who directed us to park in the underground garage. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was clean and spacious enough. Bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, close to Chiayi’s main sights, although there isn’t much to do immediately around the hotel itself.

There were many hotels at Chaofu road because I wanted to stay somewhere near the shopping malls like ShinKong Mitsushita and The Lin would be the best option. I highly recommend this hotel because breakfast has a good spread, the team was excellent, helpful and they tried their best in their every way! Thank you especially to Donny; Amber and the team at front desk; they’re are all heaven sent! The room I’ve stayed at was luxurious!! Everything was memorable for me♥️🙏🏻✨ Thank you The Lin!! I would highly recommend this hotel whenever you’re in Taichung!!

Grand banyan hotel is above my expectations, I am very thankful for the reservation team and front desk staff for helping me when I mistakenly booked my hotel room on the wrong date. I will definitely comeback to this outstanding hotel in the future when return to Tainan.

Pool was littered with debris from the strong winds. The water quality was good, but the pool staff could have done a better job at hauling out the debris at the deep end of the pool. The jacuzzi was a disappointment. The presence of greenish/yellowish algae in the water made the jacuzzi uninviting. The heater was turned off and will not be turned on until the third week of November. I was there during the last week of October. Every resort I stayed at had the jacuzzi heated despite the time of the year or the ambient air temperature. If it is the position of the management to not clean or heat the jacuzzi, then the jacuzzi should be covered up and blocked off. The breakfast buffet was horrible considering how much money they charged. I probably will not stay or recommend this hotel. It’s has a lot of potential!

As soon as you enter the lobby, you can feel the high-quality service. The entire lobby is very comfortable with a light fragrance. The check-in procedure was fast and we checked in early, so we could let our children go to the room and rest early. Every detail and facility in the room and hotel was perfect, and the whole family slept very well. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
