I stayed there for 5 days, overall a pleasant experience though I can see a few points of improvement, seen the brand Marriott.
Small IT issues with the key, which continued to demagnetise despite my maximum care. I had to return to reception at least 5 times.
The part which should improve more is the service at the restaurant, waiters look young and junior, though definitely patient and motivated. They should possibly pay more attention to all customers especially during busy periods, when it was almost impossible to have eye contact with them.
Stayed at hotel for 3 nights due to going on a course. Quite noisy with people coming & going chatting in corridors slamming doors etc but probably to be expected for an airport hotel.
Handy with airport
Lovely welcome, friendly, smooth reception check-in.
Breakfast was lovely
Only thing I have to say is that the walls are very thin and I could hear next doors *** ****** and **** ** *******! Literally!!!
Only weird because I was with my daughter (13yo)!
I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport and found it to be a very convenient choice, especially for travelers with early flights. The hotel is located right next to the airport, making it extremely easy to get to the terminals. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the overall facilities were excellent.
There’s also good access to transportation—bus services to downtown Glasgow are available directly from the airport, which made getting into the city simple and efficient.
The only downside was that, because our outbound flight was early in the morning, we were only allowed to stay in the hotel lobby until midnight. It would be wonderful if the hotel could accommodate guests a little longer, at least until check-in time, especially for those catching early flights.
Overall, it’s a great hotel for airport convenience and comfort, with just a small improvement that could make the experience even better.
The suite was nice and spacious. Big unsightly stain on the couch though. Shower was great. Bed comfy. The spa and outdoor jacuzzi was good. The cocktails were expertly made. Would definitely stay again.
Hotel seemed a bit tired and in need of some tlc, staff all friendly when spoken to and bar staff helpful. Bar area seemed a bit cramped and awkward. Our room was supposed to be executive but felt pretty cramped. Have stayed elsewhere for less and had more space. The bathroom had nowhere to put toiletries in or out of the shower and the toilet in a very enclosed space between the wall and the glass shower door. Actually banged my shoulder on the toilet roll holder! Room was clean but bed was rock hard and neither of us managed to get much sleep due to having to keep moving off the numb joint so often. The room was on the second floor and absolutely roasting so had to keep the fan on all night which was really noisy as well. Breakfast was plentiful and set out well but a bit tasteless. Overall disappointing stay for our anniversary.
The Bowfield Hotel and Spa is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Bowfield Hotel and Spa is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Lochwinnoch. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Howwood located approximately 2km away and Glasgow Airport roughly 15km away. Seeing Lochwinnoch's sights from this hotel is easy with Kenmure Hill Temple, Castle Semple Collegiate Church and Playground Howwood Park all close by. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Lochwinnoch hotel features parking on site.
Stayed one night in room number one. There was a loud humming noise coming from outside the bedroom window. I spoke to the hotel about this and was told the appliance would turn off at 9pm. We came back from the gig around 11.30pm and it was still running. It continued to turn on and off throughout the night. If we had been staying longer i would have complained and moved rooms. There are other reviews on here about noise issues in this hotel.

GGuest UserStaff very kind and helpful. Although I agree with energy saving, a small room with a window that does not open and the air conditioning that does not cool off at the desired temperature is not acceptable (a completely ineffective gradation is set). That the room was small was already evident from the booking, but the information on the restriction of opening the window for safety (a few cm) was completely hidden. Not exactly in the city center.
