GGuest UserWas disappointed this time stay at this hotel a few times. Our plane was delayed so we never arrived until 2am. The girl at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Went to our room and there was an awful noise coming from the bathroom it was like a strong wind blowing through the cistern. We flushed the toilet a few times but it wouldn’t go away, we were tired so just went to bed with the bathroom door closed but could still hear it. We were up at 6.30 am went for breakfast and reported it to reception. The first girl we spoke to didn’t seem interested at all, just said she was listening but there was nothing she could do. It was her attitude more than anything , we then went back up and checked out about 7.30am the second girl at check out was nicer said she would report it and would be in touch. We like this hotel and go away a lot but we were very disappointed in the attitude of us having a very sleepless few hours. Took a video of it but it won’t upload.

Good breakfast with good selection of healthy and fried breakfast.
Excellent location to airport and coach transfers. Just across the road from terminal. 2 minute walk.

GGuest UserHotel seemed a bit tired and in need of some tlc, staff all friendly when spoken to and bar staff helpful. Bar area seemed a bit cramped and awkward. Our room was supposed to be executive but felt pretty cramped. Have stayed elsewhere for less and had more space. The bathroom had nowhere to put toiletries in or out of the shower and the toilet in a very enclosed space between the wall and the glass shower door. Actually banged my shoulder on the toilet roll holder! Room was clean but bed was rock hard and neither of us managed to get much sleep due to having to keep moving off the numb joint so often. The room was on the second floor and absolutely roasting so had to keep the fan on all night which was really noisy as well. Breakfast was plentiful and set out well but a bit tasteless. Overall disappointing stay for our anniversary.

GGuest UserThe experince as a whole was fantastic and I would stay again. It was very convenient for me also the food and the bar as very asily accessed.
The room however was lacking in charging facilities by the bed......there are none! I find this strange in the modern world that there is no possibility to charge even a phone eitther side of the bed.
The breakfast quality was not as should be, everything for a good a hearty scottish fried breakfast was either dry, cold or rock hard!

Although I agree with energy saving, a small room with a window that does not open and the air conditioning that does not cool off at the desired temperature is not acceptable (a completely ineffective gradation is set). That the room was small was already evident from the booking, but the information on the restriction of opening the window for safety (a few cm) was completely hidden. Not exactly in the city center.

GGuest UserStayed one night in room number one. There was a loud humming noise coming from outside the bedroom window. I spoke to the hotel about this and was told the appliance would turn off at 9pm. We came back from the gig around 11.30pm and it was still running. It continued to turn on and off throughout the night. If we had been staying longer i would have complained and moved rooms. There are other reviews on here about noise issues in this hotel.

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel, spotless. The spa was absolutely amazing. The only down side was 2 of the bars were closed, seeminley due to staffing issues, we had been looking forward to trying them. The only place to eat was the a la carte restaurant but the food and staff were absolutely lovely. Also the spa staff were fantastic, thank you, will definitely be back.
