It is located at a strategic location. Easy access to the tram zone. It is quiet, clean, tidy, and breakfast is good. Friendly staff when check-in at the hotel. There is a nice Thai restaurant just opposite the hotel, reasonable price and cooked by Thai. Overall it is a good & full score. I will definitely stay again if I travel to Zurich.
Hotel was rather disappointing for a 4* hotel
Rooms clean, rather smallish, no chair
There was a desk which just takes space, too small for a laptop ..so not really clear why in the room
Service in the spa is disappointing. Mentioned 2h before the spa closed to the staff that there is not hot water in the urn, no fruits in the fruit bowl... The answer was simply that there will be tomorrow
Long queue to check in and only one staff member on call
The hotel's location is great, very close to the train station. Rooms were cleaned daily. The only downside was that the dishwasher was broken and didn't get repaired. Fortunately, the room had air conditioning, which was a real comfort as Switzerland in June can be quite hot.
Easy go to center by tram (3 min walk and some 10~15 min ride to Zurich main station and 20 min to lake), Very quiet neigborhood. Many restaurents options in walking distance. Great staff and very good breakfast. Zurich public transportation is super! It worth it to buy a Zurich card if you plan to go museums, lake cruise, cable cars, etc.
Let me emphasize: this is an Ibis **Budget**, not a standard Ibis. I only realized my booking mistake upon arrival. The room was tiny, but perfectly functional, essentially just offering a place to sleep. Transportation is quite convenient, with a tram stop offering direct access to the city center. Located in the Technopark area, it's very quiet, and there are convenient supermarkets close by. Service was decent.
Good location that is near the railway station. The room is in reasonable size as it is near the city center. Breakfast is good with fresh bread, fruits, and coffee. The chocolate fountain for free treats at the reception is really an attraction. Service at the front desk is superb. Will come and book the hotel again in the future.
This is a pretty new hotel near the airport so the room is quite clean and nice looking. There are several fast food restaurants and a couple supermarkets nearby, which is convenient. front desk staff are friendly. The only issue was my room’s hot water seems not working so it is a bit annoying that you hope to take a shower but have to withstand some very lukewarm water even though I turned the nob to the highest temperature setting. The front desk listened when I complained during checkout so hopefully they fix it for the next guest. Oh, this hotel has AC, pretty important to have during summer travel in Europe. I still recommend it believing the shower issue was just a single case.
Good location very near to the zurich HB. Walking distance to almost all the landmark in zurich. Staff are friendly and amenities are all available. Just note that there will not be aircon during november period.
We loved this hotel! Fabian and all of the front desk staff where amazing and made us feel so welcome. It's very close to the train station and walking distance to old town. Breakfast was also good in the M Lounge and the view from our junior suite was amazing. Our only complaint is the elevator situation. We almost missed our flight because it took us 30 minutes to get down. Only 2 out of 3 elevators where working the day we were leaving. Otherwise, it's a great hotel!
As the name suggests the hotel is Central to many food options, Zurich HB (200m) and shopping.
We loved the stroll around the city at night and liked that there was a supermarket just across the road.
We stayed in both a Junior Suite and Double Bedroom as we had to extend our stay. Junior Suite is extremely spacious with a full lounge and desk separate from the bedroom. The look of the rooms are a bit dated but clean and well maintained.
Hotel staff are friendly and helpful which made our stay delightful.

Great
AAlimar NathanWe had a pleasant stay at Hotel Marta. The location is excellent — right in the middle of Zurich and close to everything, making it very easy to explore the city. The service was great, especially the lady who assisted us during check-in; she was very nice and friendly, which made us feel welcome.
The room itself was clean and simple, though it didn’t have air conditioning. We had to slightly open the window for ventilation, which was manageable. We requested a higher floor, but I think because we also requested two single beds, we were assigned a lower floor instead. Not a big issue, but something to note.
Breakfast was very minimal in terms of options. If you have the choice, it might be better to skip the breakfast and try some of the many nearby cafes instead.
Overall, Hotel Marta is a good, no-fuss option if you want to stay in a central and convenient location in Zurich with friendly service.
GGuest UserI am truly grateful for the staff's consideration in accommodating my late check-in. The breakfast was also very delicious. Although the hotel is close to the airport, there is some noise from planes, but compared to other international airports, it is relatively quiet and the frequency of noise is low. I also appreciate the beverage service provided.

ZzaborszkybI didn’t want to give 1 star but it was really disappointing. Oka, Trip.com didn’t mention that there is AC, so it’s fair that the room didn’t have it but not even a fan and it was extremely hot! There is no trash bin in the room so we had to use our own plastic bags to collect waste. There is no wifi (even though they promised there would be info in the room about it, there wasn’t). The shower has no curtain or wall so water splashed everywhere when taking shower. Nonetheless, it was fine for just sleeping but even with the quite low price considering it’s Zürich, it was not a pleasant experience. Maybe I’m too picky, hence the neutral rating.
GGuest UserThe service attitude of the hotel is very good. The lady and aunt at the front desk are very nice. The room is large and the bathroom is separated. It has a very cool Swiss style. It is very close to the city center and also very close to the central station. It is right in the middle. It is very good.
CCathie ChewBlessed to make connections with the hotel staff who are totally helpful whenever I need help.
A big shout out to Rui who serves at the breakfast faithfully.
Also Raphael who is totally friendly.
The latest kid on the block, Diana is such an angel to have around.
I am thankful to be in a place without strangers here.
CCHI KEUNGThe hotel is just 5-6 minutes walk from Zurich HB, very convenient located. I only have 24 hours in Zurich and the front desk lady was very kind to give me some recommendations on sightseeing spots.
Hotel room is small but for solo travelers it's alright.
AAnonymous UserVery nice stuf , very clean rooms , in the heart of zurich .you can walk everywhere from hotel.
The otel is decorated good small but very clean
SSutaoAwesome 👍 Checked in at noon, the kind grandparents at the front desk were very fast and convenient, the hotel was a bit retro, but very clean. Breakfast is simple but delicious. Although the street is a bit noisy, I wear earplugs. The service staff were very friendly and polite, everything was perfect in Zurich!
