I've been here many times, always choosing to come during the off-season before Chinese New Year. Both breakfast and dinner are great, and the hotel rooms have been renovated. It's a shame the macaw from before is gone. The beautiful scenery of Xiaowan Beach remains as stunning as ever.
A wonderful experience, surrounded by mountains and streams, breathing in the fresh forest air and enjoying the natural scenery. The hotel's facilities were great, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Due to its secluded location, all meals were enjoyed at the hotel. The ingredients were quite unique, and I especially loved the blanched seasonal vegetables at dinner 😋. A pleasant fragrance permeated the entire hotel; I wondered if it was used to deter insects!

Our family really enjoyed this hotel. The room was big spacious. However, the shower was really weird. It was really short so we had to take a bath and couldn’t shower properly. The shower was elevated and definitely could not fit anyone that was more than 4 ft 5”. This is not a typo. The shower is meant for pretty much kids. If adults stand there, The water will spray everywhere all over the floor. The hotel was really excellent with their communications. We left something important at the hotel and they quickly reached out to us and is able to ship to our next hotel. The location is also unbeatable. Just across the street from the MRT and Kaohsiung station. The HSR station is 5 MRT stops away. We didn’t see many few options right next to the hotel and had to walk about 10 minutes to a local market.
The slide in the six-person room was really fun, but the soundproofing was a bit poor, and the flooring wasn't very comfortable to walk on. There's a table and sofa, which made it super convenient for bringing food back. The room was spacious and comfortable overall.

The service at this hotel was outstanding; I absolutely loved it. The breakfast spread offered a huge variety, making it very accommodating for different dietary preferences. They also had family-friendly activities, like the hands-on experience of pounding traditional rice cakes (nian gao).

Whenever I visit Taichung, I always choose Mr. Mantter for my stay. Besides the fact that Trip.com often has special deals for Diamond members, the main reason is its excellent location. It's very convenient to get around, and there are plenty of parking spaces on Taiwan Boulevard. The rooms are spotless, the shower has great water pressure and is hot enough, plus it's a dry/wet separation design. The in-room air conditioning is just right, and the bed's firmness is also perfect. The staff are friendly and there are many dining options nearby, not to mention it's not far from the night market. This is definitely a place I'll keep coming back to.
My stay at the Sheraton Taoyuan Hotel was great overall. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to both the airport and the high-speed rail station, which is very convenient for travelers catching flights. The breakfast at the Kitchen Restaurant was diverse and delicious. Although the building itself shows a bit of age, it's well-maintained and the service is friendly, making it a high-value-for-money accommodation option.

This time, I chose a balcony room with a view. I happened to stay on New Year's Eve, so I could see a lot of other people's fireworks from the balcony. It was great that I didn't have to squeeze into the crowds in Taipei. The hotel cat was also very cute, and the host was very friendly. The next morning, the host even asked me if I slept well. Overall, it was a very good experience!

The B&B is about a 10-minute walk from the Hualien Transfer Station. The area is mainly homestays, with a 7-11, supermarket, and breakfast shop nearby. Several souvenir shops are also nearby, making it convenient for shopping. Buses run from the station to the airport, Qixingtan, Taroko, and other popular attractions.
Check-in was easy, and the host was quick to respond. There's an elevator and drinking water on the first floor. Shower gel and shampoo are provided in the room, and the hot water supply is stable and plentiful. However, the faucets are stagnant, so you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and mouthwash cup. The TV offers a wide variety of channels, including YouTube.
The day after our stay, a 4.7 magnitude earthquake shook the entire bed, but the elevator was unaffected.

The location is easy to find The service staff is very polite The environment is not bad because the pillow has a lot of hair, about 3 long hairs, and we haven’t used it yet. Bedside table, corner, thick dust🧐 Toilet toilet paper is flat toilet paper. You have to count the number of sheets yourself and it is difficult to know the thickness (it depends on your personal habits) When we arrived, it was around 17:30 and the service staff asked you to have some snacks. It’s actually past snack time and I’m just a little hungry😋 Indoors, we saw that there was no parking space in front of the hotel when we returned (renting a motorcycle) because the door was full of motorcycles. Unless we move the car, there is still room for one. Come out immediately and tell us that you can park in the opposite parking lot without moving the car. <Not far away within 50 meters> My cat-loving friend Meijiamei has three aborigines who are very close to people. Very cute, but it’s a pity that I forgot to bring my phone to take pictures when I went to Lu Mao

Outstanding
convenient location close to two metro lines snacks and beverages are provided in the lobby room was spacious but dated yet bed sheets and towels are relatively new, clean and soft housekeeping needs to pay more attention to the sink and shower area, found a few hair hee and there when i first checked into the room
Tucked away from the city buzz, this Kinmen resort was a solo traveler’s dream—quiet, scenic, and soul-soothing 🌅. The sunrise view alone was worth the trip, painting the sky with golden hues that made early mornings feel magical. The staff were incredibly attentive 💁♀️, with thoughtful service and seamless communication via LINE and WeChat 📲, making everything feel effortless. Breakfast? A daily highlight 🍳—fresh, flavorful, and served with a side of serenity. If you're craving a peaceful retreat with top-notch hospitality and nature’s own light show, this spot delivers a quiet kind of luxury that lingers long after checkout 🌿✨.
The room was spacious and clean. Location wise is ok but need your own car. The only hiccup was that they didn't send me any instructions and I had to call their landline. Could have provided Line contact for foreigners.
Great stay just around the corner of the old street in Jiufen! Takes about 2 flights of stairs to reach the entrance so be aware before you book (as it would be hard to navigate with alot of luggage). Lovely home and very spacious! There is no actual stove or cooktop but they do have a food heating electrical system setup...i didnt use but it is available. Highly recommend for the location and the peaceful vibes. Check in and out was super smooth!
Beautiful little bed and breakfast with an amazing view of the surrounding landscape, tasty breakfast in the morning and a nice clean room with a nice shower.
We spent an enjoyable 8 nights at Peace B&B. It's in the ”Old Town” so lots of character but quiet at night as no traffic is allowed and shops closed. Room is a comfortable size and the balcony is lovely. Breakfast included is collected at reception each morning. We really appreciated the help with the airport pickup and drop. Improvements would be a mirror in the bedroom and better towels (the fluffy towels ate not absorbant).
I came here on the third night after traveling around the island from Taipei, and I was full of praises! The room is clean, the bathroom and toilet are separated, which completely conquers my mysophobia! The starry sky at night...is soothing to us who live a stressful life in Taipei on weekdays! The whole push, push, push!
