Highly recommended! This was my first time visiting Altay, Xinjiang. The hotel was easy to find, and the customer service contacted me in advance via WeChat to discuss everything. (520522) First, due to the weather at the end of November, the refund and cancellation services were very considerate. Second, the hotel facilities were complete. The underfloor heating was on from the entrance, making it very warm. The lobby reception area combined with a water bar had delicious drinks! Guests were thoughtfully offered ginger tea upon arrival to ward off the cold. Third, the room was clean and tidy; I couldn't find a single fault. The toiletries were excellent, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. Fourth, the food selection was extensive; I feel many high-end hotels don't offer this level of food and drinks. Finally, the service!! So warm and attentive. Free parking; remember to scan the QR code at the front desk to get a parking voucher before going downstairs. Thank you for the hospitality; I will definitely come again!

These past two days in Xinjiang, we couldn't see the stars. If you're heading out late, around 11-12 PM, I highly recommend this hotel. The sun rises quite late in Xinjiang, and the scenery after sunrise is pretty stunning. My stay had both great and average experiences! The great experiences were: 1. Service was very responsive. 2. When we left very early in the morning, there was a car to take us to the front desk. 3. The scenery after sunrise was fantastic. 4. The underfloor heating kept the room warm even without the air conditioning on. The average experiences were: 1. Breakfast was standard, not a lot of variety. 2. The electric water heater for showering was a little inconvenient. 3. Housekeeping could be slightly improved. 4. The facilities, especially the main door – we had an issue where it wouldn't open, and someone had to come fix it! Overall, the service was quite good and responsive, and the scenery was beautiful!

This is my first time writing such a detailed review, and I just have to give this place a shout-out, even though my photos are pretty mediocre. I was in Altay for a business trip, and I wasn't thrilled with the hotel my partner booked. So I switched to this one, and I definitely made the right choice. I absolutely loved the hotel's vibe. It seemed like a lot of ski enthusiasts were staying here. It's quite new, and the layout is exactly to my liking. The breakfast was truly excellent. They had rice noodles, which I, a 'southern big potato,' love, and also regular noodles. The laundry room wasn't crowded, and there was a lovely lady in the lobby – she was so beautiful! It seems attractive people gravitate towards attractive hotels. They also have their own coffee bar, and the in-room capsule coffee machine was my absolute favorite. The location is super convenient, right on the main street in the city center, with snowy landscapes on both sides. There are various restaurants right outside the main entrance. The room was spacious enough to fit most ski equipment. It's clear they really understand the ski market. They also offer airport pickup, which is a huge plus. I'll definitely bring my family here next time, and I want to stay in a duplex!

One of the most satisfactory hotels in Xinjiang, the room is relatively large, the overall feeling is very transparent, and the hygiene is quite good. The hotel is located in the new urban area, and the overall layout is quite comfortable. Warm porridge at night: There are not many things, but it is just right for simple meals at night, suitable for babies who don't want to go out for food at night after a long journey. There is a Hotan rose pilaf near the hotel, which is within walking distance, and the lamb kebabs taste great. The only drawback is that the water pressure of the hotel is unstable at night, and the bath water is sometimes cold and sometimes hot, which is unexpected.

First, the pros: The location is excellent, right in the Liuxing Street scenic area, making it convenient to go anywhere. The rooms are very spacious; a twin room can easily accommodate four people. The receptionist at the door is very helpful, warm, and attentive. The guesthouse's exterior is particularly beautiful, perfect for taking photos. The cons: Cleanliness is really just average. One bed had a lot of lint and hair, although they quickly replaced it and offered snacks and a small gift as compensation, it was still a bit uncomfortable. The guesthouse doesn't have an elevator. When we checked in on the third floor, the receptionist helped us carry our luggage up, but when we were leaving, a man glanced at us and ignored us. We only realized he was a staff member at the front desk when we checked out. It felt like poor service, especially considering how inconvenient it is to carry luggage on the third floor without an elevator. The shower water was extremely unstable. It was either too hot or too cold, and the water temperature was inconsistent. It was fine the first night, but the second night the water started acting up, which I suspect was due to someone staying next door using the water simultaneously. Finally, absolutely do not book in advance during the off-season!!! I only found out after checking in that it was several hundred yuan cheaper than booking in advance 😅

My journey westward led me to the Hilton Urumqi. Stepping through the doors, it felt as if I had entered a soothing oasis. After a long and dusty journey, what was most precious was encountering such genuine warmth. A young lady at the front desk, named Xiaobao, greeted me with smiling eyes. Her words carried a unique clarity and sincerity, characteristic of the Northwest. She calmly and efficiently handled all the minor tasks, as if it wasn't just routine work, but rather like brushing dust off the clothes of a long-lost friend. Seeing my bewildered expression, she offered extra advice; when I inquired about local attractions and itineraries, she leaned over with a pen, meticulously outlining details. Such meticulousness went beyond her duties; it was more akin to an inherent kindness and sincerity. The system at my previous hotel had failed to log out my secure session, leaving me stranded at the front desk, helpless, much like an ancient traveler who had lost their transit permit – anxious and embarrassed. Thankfully, Xiaobao came to the rescue, and with exceptional patience and professionalism, she helped me resolve the issue. What was originally just a routine stopover became a memorable highlight of my journey, thanks to this meticulous attention to detail. Across a thousand miles of desert, with the gentle tinkling of camel bells, travelers have always sought nothing more than a lamp, a warm cup of tea, and a kind word. Yet here, nestled among the buildings at the foot of Bogda Peak, what I received far exceeded these simple desires. The grandeur of the Northwest is hidden in its mountains and rivers; the warmth of Hilton is reflected on the faces of its people. My heartfelt thanks to Xiaobao; through her kindness, she truly showed me the meaning of 'a home away from home'. While other five-star hotels I've stayed at might match Hilton's facilities, it's the personal kindness and amiable nature of the staff that truly makes guests feel refreshed and at ease. It is precisely these golden pieces of the puzzle that assemble into the perfect experience at Hilton Urumqi.

Choosing this guesthouse was such a wise decision for my trip to Kanas! The high-end service lived up to its reputation; the butler was attentive and helpful, proactively sharing travel tips, making my entire trip worry-free and comfortable. The rooms were clean and tidy, with a sophisticated wooden design, comfortable bedding, and stunning mountain views right outside the door. The food deserves special mention: the breakfast was plentiful and the ingredients were fresh; the afternoon tea was exquisite and delicious, especially with the floral tea – so relaxing! Hygiene, service, and food were all impeccable, offering exceptional value. Sitting at the guesthouse reception, basking in the warm sunshine and gazing at the mountain scenery outside the window, all the fatigue from my journey instantly vanished – I didn't want to leave! I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Facilities: Although it's a tent, it has floor heating, so it's very warm at night. I feel like it's perfect for beginners who want to try camping but are worried about rough conditions. It's very friendly for camping newbies. The bathroom is a brick structure and also has floor heating, so showering isn't cold at all, and the water is nice and hot. In fact, we were so tired the first night that we just crashed and showered the next morning. Afterwards, we felt wonderfully warm and incredibly comfortable. In summer, there's air conditioning, a fan, and a humidifier. That humidifier at the hotel genuinely saved me later – heaven knows, as a Southerner, my nose bled on the first day in Kashgar from the dryness, and no amount of moisturizer or water helped. Hygiene: It's quite clean; it feels like a newly built campsite. Environment: It's a bit far from Taxkorgan town, but if the weather is good, you might be able to stargaze. Unfortunately, it rained the night we stayed. There's a wetland nearby, which is truly beautiful. I'll just post pictures of the tent's interior, haha. Service: The campsite is a bit large, but I don't think walking around takes too long. Still, the hotel provides a shuttle service, with staff helping with luggage and transfers, which is great! There's also a particularly cute big fluffy chicken, hahahaha~

Traditional Pamiri dishes, such as laghman (noodle soup), plov (rice pilaf), and fresh breads, are served with a welcoming spirit. The food isn’t fancy, but it’s flavorful and comforting, which is exactly what you need after a day of exploring the mountains. Overall Experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wanda Moments, Taxkorgan Pamir, is a must-visit for travelers who want to experience the unspoiled beauty of the Pamir Mountains. GGuest UserElla is a conscientious and gracious host who has cultivated a warm and fun environment. I had a great experience sleeping in the comfortable dorm which was a very fair price by China standards as well. Facilities are new and clean. I slept well on a comfy bed in a relatively quiet neighborhood that’s still very close to the ancient city. Also you can take a taxi directly to her Homestay whereas in the ancient city you have to carry your bags at least a few hundred meters from taxi drop off. Ella was patient and answered all of my touristic questions while caring for the other guests too. Also she often prepares a potluck meal for a fair price. I met many interesting travellers here too so if you are looking for a good base to rest that meets your social and touristic needs as well Ella’s home is the place for you. Probably my favorite hostel in my month in China. Shame I have to leave. The private rooms look quite cozy as well

AANWhat can I say: awesome place, awesome room, awesome hosts. Alyx is speaks little English but WeChat translate and other translate apps, helps with the English-Chinese barrier. Along with the extremely warm hospitality with his wife who made an effort to make me breakfast before my early 2 day tour at 8 am which is not part of the expenses, made my stay in Kashgar worth wild. With my little Chinese, we exchanged cultural experiences and it was like we were old time friends. He even patiently helped with booking a tour to Lake Karakul and to Tashkurgan, along with getting a border permit (where the tour company was harrassing him for extra info since they never dealt with a foreigner before) and which was unknownly in the Lonely planet guide but under Karakoram Highway section. Thanks for making my stay feel like another home - with friends rather than another business in another city for a female solo traveller.

YYuyoushanghaiThe location is good, and it's considered an upscale hotel locally, but the service truly doesn't live up to the price. This was my first time staying with the Home Inn Group, and I've certainly learned my lesson. The front desk staff's training is severely inadequate: 1. While luggage carts are available, no one greets guests or offers assistance with luggage upon arrival or departure. 2. As a Trip.com Diamond member, I was entitled to a free breakfast. However, the front desk initially claimed ignorance and insisted I sign up for a hotel membership on the spot. If a mobile verification code was delayed, they'd ask me to try a different phone. It wasn't until Trip.com intervened that they finally admitted their error, apologized, and offered a small fruit gift. 3. The night before, I asked about oxygen tanks and was told they were available for purchase. The next morning, at 9 AM, just before my departure, I went to buy one, only to be informed they were sold out with no replenishment. 4. My chartered car driver inquired about free parking by registering the license plate and was assured it was complimentary for stays under an hour. Yet, upon exiting after only 32 minutes, we were charged a 2 RMB parking fee. 5. Furthermore, the bed linens had cigarette burn holes, and the shower room floor was warped. With such unreliable service and an unprofessional front desk, how can this hotel possibly justify its listing on Trip.com's local high-end hotel rankings?

LLilyDThe location is a little bit hidden in an alley, however I love how it is nestled among the local restaurants and houses, you get to see how the people live on the daily basis. Otherwise the room is clean, amenities are great too. If you are a light-sleeper, it can be a little bit noisy since it is located near houses. But overall, it is a great guesthouse if you would like a place near town as a base for your travel. The owner’s daugther though..despite my limited Mandarin, she went away and beyond to help me with literally everything from booking a bus, and communicating with a DiDi driver to mail my AirPod which I had left in the car at a different city!  She arranged for it to be sent to my next location which I had book prior, ensured that the postman gave the mail to me personally by phonecall. She is one of the sweetest person I have met during my solo travel to China.
