Pet Friendly Hotels in Red Sea Governorate, Egypt

we had a family reunion at Panorama form October 31 to November 7,2019, we had 7 rooms The Location is Excellent , walking distance to downtown ElGouna Rooms are spacious, food quality is good, Staff very courteous and pleasant the only problem we had was confirming reservation with the hotel Overall experience was very good, may book it again in the future

Trip was great, but our bathtub was leaking and there was water on the bathroom floor all the time. Hotel was close to the beach and we didn’t have to walk far, so it was nice. Service was good, but they charging more for Egyptian citizens so I wasn’t pleased with that.

The sea view room is still very beautiful, but the road in is still being repaired, there is a kind of isolation. It is also expensive to take a taxi to the city, more than 40km. If you like diving, there is a very beautiful underwater world here, but the deep asked the quotation is 50 euros, not cheap at all. Snorkeling saw very beautiful corals and fish. Can't live long, no nightlife.

We came here to get ”time out” to work as I am in the last 6 months of my PhD. This place is fabulous - the pictures dont do it justice, The rooms are ALL bungalow style with plenty of room, fridge, beds are great, bottled water every day and with a oatio/veranda with outside seating,. EVERY room has this if you have trouble working it out on the rooms available. The resort is beautiful and no matter where you are here you are 3 minutes MAX walk from the beach with thier own coral reef and you can walk, snorkel, swim etc etc withuot being attacked by sellers. There is a small supermarket on site, thsirt shop, also a homeotpathy shop and hairdressers etc all here. The layout is relaxing and not like the ”over grand” too structured other resorts. The location is about 15 minutes by Uber into Hurghada centre which works out around £2 each way and there is a supermarket ”metro” and lots of stuff going on. On site they have a gym - it has dumbells up to 30kg, pec/should press, flat bench, bench press bench and power bar and weight up to 200kg, Also full cabe system with attachments, leg press machine and pulley row and lat pulldown with all attachments. There is of course cardio machines. If you need a heavy session then there is ProActive Gym in Hurghada for any of the bigger workouts but the gym here we can do our lighter training sessions here and we both compete internationally. FOOD!!!!!!!!!! THE FOOD!!!!! If you compete, have a low carb diet etc etc - you can be here and stick to your diet. The FRESH salads are a dream and always clean meat options as well as vegetarian options. Breakfast- they have an egg station so you can do your egg white thing or get your eggs any way you like,. Lots of options every day and changed all the time. You can also eat seriously high carb and the deserts are to DIE FOR and offer everything for a cheat meal or just to be ”on holiday”. The staff- I cant say enough about the staff They actually give a damn about you - not just being professional but they care about you enjoying it here. We have been stuck here as the UK went into lockdown and our flight were cancelled. We have now been here 7 weeks and they have been wonderful, honestly, I wouldnt stay anywhere else in Hurghada and certainy not anywhere with rooms all piked on top of eachother ever again when I have this option. Outstanding place and people.

Pros: The room and bed are large, the environment is quiet and beautiful, you can see the blue sea in a few steps, the breakfast is rich in variety, there is a bar at night, you can enjoy free cocktails🍸 Disadvantages are that the room equipment is aging, the bathtub is a bit old, it is a bit far from the city, and shopping is not very convenient

The rooms are bungalow-type and generally clean, but the bathroom smelled of sewage and smoke came out of the hairdryer cord. There are cats living throughout the hotel, so if you don't like them, be careful (they will try to get into your room). Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all buffet style (changes daily). You can order a la carte at the restaurant for lunch. At breakfast, there is a live kitchen (fried eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs) on the balcony of the restaurant, so it is recommended. It seems that you can also get light meals at the restaurant near the beach depending on the time. As for alcohol, the beer is Sakkara beer, not Stella. There are several types of cocktails, and the lineup available at all restaurants and bars is the same. If possible, I recommend drinking at the lobby bar. It seems that you can smoke anywhere on the premises.

Economy class hotel as expected, but there is no drinking water in the room, I checked in at night, there is nowhere to get it, they have it on sale, but you can’t pay in the morning, only prepayment, it was very upsetting, I suffered through the night, and the air conditioner was also clicking very loudly, but I was pleased with the breakfast, although it was portioned, but big!
