SSHIBOBreakfast is good, but you need to order it yourself! Only cold food is a buffet, and hot food needs to be ordered by yourself. But it's fine. The location is near the sea point in the white living area of Cape Town. There is a supermarket within a ten-minute walk. You can stroll around the street. Surrounded by Korean, Thai and Chinese food. Room facilities are a bit old and the area is a bit small, especially the toilet and bathroom feel small, bathroom facilities are a bit poor. But very clean. Facing the sea, the distance is a bit far, but the sight is very good.
SStephenQuattroLe Bay Lodge is very close to the beach front and some nice little restaurants. We arrived late the evening and was welcomed very warmly and showed to our room. We had a balcony up stairs and a great view in the morning with the sea and mountains around us. Breakfast was great and I bumped over a cup of coffee which was cleaned quickly without any fuss. Our car was parked safely with 24 hour surveillance, which made me very comfortable. Thank you for a good stay
MMeg_thehungrytravelerFrom the beginning, the Cellars-Hohenort went above and beyond for us. The staff, management and property are exceptional. Nestled at the base of Table Mountain, this property offered a quite reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Cape Town. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of dishes being offered and a continental spread available for starters. We will definitely come back and stay at this lovely hotel!
CCharlyNomadWe had a lovely stay at this property that was built in the 1600's, where we had a little stargazing session from outside of our room at night. Staff were wonderful and when my gf wanted to buy a small bottle of their peri-peri sauce, the lovely lady at the restaurant filled and gave half a mineral water bottle with it free of charge as they only had 5L bottle stocks. South African hospitality at its finest.
GGaileyBeeA wonderful place to stay. The owners have a very special place here. Lovely room with views out to the ocean. So peaceful and quiet. The stairs up to the property with lovely mosaic features. Would love to stay again as one night wasn't enough. An honesty fridge with cold drinks and snacks was great.
GGuest UserIt is a pity that we stayed here for just 1 day! The hostess has booked a table for us at the best nearest restaurant. The combination of architecture and the atmosphere of the farm is beautiful. The only minus: In other reviews people said they saw a mouse, but I, unfortunately, have not seen them anywhere, only 3 beautifully nurtured dogs of the hostess. I will come back here for a longer time.
