Hotel location is very good, just on Bayi Street. Next to Hong Kong Road, the Convention and Exhibition Center, not far from Gongbutian Street. Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our 8-day, 7-night Tibet trip, the Shangri-La Lhasa was by far the best. Besides its beautiful Tibetan-style decor, what truly saved our trip was their medical room. We experienced severe altitude sickness on our second day. The hotel's medical room is staffed 24/7, and the experienced military doctor there provided us with treatment. Although the IV drip and oxygen were a bit pricey, the medicine worked wonders! The next day, all my altitude sickness symptoms – headache, weakness in limbs – were gone. We were able to smoothly continue our journey to higher altitudes like Mount Everest Base Camp. That medicine was truly miraculous!

Most of the details of the hotel are in place. There is a laundry room on the third floor with two washing and drying machines. There are many charging sockets in the room, and we have brought a lot of electronic products to find a place to charge. Service response was also very prompt, I needed an iron and staff would be delivered to the room soon. Mianyang rice noodles provided for breakfast are more authentic, with full marks 💯. But there is a small suggestion, I don’t know if it is the reason for the off-season, there are too few drinks for breakfast, there is milk and soy milk, for people who don’t drink milk and soy milk, it is equivalent to no water for breakfast. My trip to Bomi! This hotel was a lifesaver! My last stop was Bonda Town, and the conditions there were indescribably terrible! Facilities: Huge parking lot with self-service car wash! And 12 washing machines! Laundry detergent and ironing machines were all readily available, making drying a breeze! The mattresses were incredibly comfortable! Wet and dry areas were separated. Cleanliness: The best thing about this new hotel is that the bedding was all brand new! Most importantly, it was spotless! Environment: Located right on the main road, very easy to find! Service: All the staff, both day and night, including the security guards, were incredibly attentive and observant! They even brought clean bags to help collect guests' laundry after it was done!

We drove 2 hours to get here after going to the Kawagebo Observation Deck the day before. We had a delicious dinner directly at the hotel restaurant, tasted red wine, and soaked in hot springs.
