This was my second visit. Located between Gyeongpo Lake and the sea, the view here is definitely the best in the vicinity. The room condition is also good, and being able to enjoy swimming, fitness, and bathing all within the hotel is a great advantage. However, the service always seems to fall short of these excellent facilities, which is a pity. The lobby staff are generally all friendly. But the service from the ancillary facility staff was disappointing. I used the swimming pool and sauna, and the customer service was a bit lacking. Especially considering the considerable extra charges for using them… The hotel might be 4 or 5-star, but the customer service felt more like a late-night convenience store.

This hotel offers breathtaking views! My previous disappointment of missing the sunrise over the sea at Gyeongpo Beach in Gangneung was completely remedied here in Jeongdongjin. If the season prevents you from catching the sunrise from your room's balcony, a short walk to Sunrise Park will bring you face-to-face with the vast, boundless ocean, where the sunrise is truly awe-inspiring. The hotel itself is a unique attraction with excellent and extensive facilities, making it perfect for families with children to relax and enjoy a leisurely vacation. There's a restaurant on-site where you can book a scenic table in advance. For guests craving local cuisine, taxis are available to take you to restaurants down the hill. The room is exceptionally well-maintained, and the bedding is very clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom area has sunken steps, which guests unfamiliar with the room layout or with impaired vision could easily trip over. I suggest adding a friendly reminder sign to alert guests about the steps and ensure their safety during their stay.

I had a very comfortable stay for three nights in Gangneung, thanks to how clean and well-maintained the accommodation was. The breakfast was fairly simple, but more than enough to start the day, and I especially appreciated the sense of space, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable. Getting around was easy whether by bus or taxi, and the location made it convenient to visit nearby attractions like Ojukheon and Jungang Market. For those travelling by car, the spacious parking area is definitely a big plus. There’s also a lovely pine forest path just behind the property, perfect for a quiet stroll. The ocean view from the room really added to the holiday atmosphere, and being able to enjoy both the sunrise and sunset was one of the highlights of staying at Shilla Monogram.

Nice place to stay. Very close to Mona Yongpyong Ski Resort. Nice view. Ample parking space. Spacious Room. Ondol room can fit 6 people. Kitchenette provided for cooking. There was an issue with our toilet where the toilet bowl is clogged. When we contact the front desk, they promptly send a staff to fix the toilet. Everything is perfect and we enjoy our stay at Tower Condominium.

My family and I absolutely love this hotel. We HIGHLY recommend! Especially for families that decide to go to Sokcho just to relax or sightsee. My daughter loved her little tent to sleep in and the view was beautiful! This hotel offers a lot of amenities like a cute area for kids to play (play play), arcade w/ karaoke and photobooth, and so much more!! I was able to get these 2 cute desserts from the Horizon bakery. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to go to the indoor/outdoor pool but we will would love to come back and check it out! The Orchid Hotel was everything and more as described on their website and the reviews. I stayed in the superior room with 1 king bed which was very comfortable. The air conditioner is adjustable to your preference. The hotel was very clean, spacious, very friendly staff (24hr lobby staff)and in the perfect location. They provided robes, slippers, 2 bottled waters, clean towels daily. The bathroom has a bidet which is separate from the shower area. They also have a pot to heat water instantly and they provide coffee and camomile tea bags. There was a large desk area in this room and a large television. The location is right across the street from a large shopping mall that also has restaurants and walking distance to Musil (restaurants, cinema, shopping). They do have a pool and has pizza and beer every evening at rooftop bar. All your needs are very close to this hotel. The bus terminal is ~6 minutes walking distance and train is ~ 10 minute taxi ride. Approximately 2 miles is the outdoor market (food/shopping). Considerations: make sure to bring international chargers, translate app and if get Wow pass can top up with cash at 7/11 or CU. I did make several attempts to top up on Wow pass app with credit card and was having difficulty. The bus terminal and taxi’s accept international visa credit card. The bus terminal does not accept T card. I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks to the staff and cleanliness.

The room is clean and nice~ I enjoyed the breakfast~ I like that it's a good place~ It's friendly and the ski resort is good, so I think I'll use it again next time~

No tea bags or coffee sachets provided, which is a bit weird.  Water pressure for shower is way too weak.  No room cleaning services, leaving alone having your new towels put outside your room in the morning. Only 4 lifts serving way too many hotel stayers, resulting in long waiting lines and thus, time.  Views are magnificient however.  The room is so massive and the balconies are spacious.

The room is spacious, has 2 bathrooms and toilets make usage convenient for a family. We stayed there because we went skiing in Elysian so it’s 15 min drive. I don’t think it’s very accessible by public transport. Interior design is a bit strange, combining colorful and traditional wooden bulky furniture, the wall is painted black and there is only one small window in the big living room so the feeling is dark, and the led light hanging on the second floor fence don’t work. So I would say facility and hygiene is just ok , but the price kind of explain this, so it’s acceptable.
