The Gap Tavern

Once again you did not disappoint. We all enjoyed our meal and a great venue to relax with friends. The staff were friendly, and the meal arrived in a timely manner.

My first visit to The Gap Tavern since the Reno. Love the Reno especially the sports bar. Although if you are fair dinkum then you need to show the pay per view boxing events. It's in Australian not to show the Tim Tzyu fights. Anyway dinner in the restaurant was great food came out quickly and my steak was great.

Great location for us. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Food is very nice. The tavern has a lovely atmosphere, having just been newly renovated. Lots of space for different groups or functions.

Once again we all enjoyed our time having a meal at The Gap Tavern. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The chefs also did a good job as the meals were enjoyed by all. This has become our favourite place to eat.

The Gap Tavern is a great venue for any occasion. The place has undergone a renovation since last year, and looks more modern and inviting now. We sat outside, which was pleasant and relaxing. Food was first class and everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was friendly and polite, if a tad slower than usual, possibly on account of the large turnout. Whether you sit indoors or out, you’ll enjoy this spacious, airy and comfortable place, with tables well spaced for good acoustics and plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. Prices are quite modest and affordable, especially if you’re a member of the Monty’s Rewards program, which gives a 5% discount off all food and drink. Seniors get special deals too, which is always good value for money. There’s masses of free parking in the venue’s car park, which it shares with the popular Dan Murphy’s liquor store, so you can stock up the liquor cab on the way out. Toilets are clean, well provisioned and easy to find.
