Attached to the Rydges hotel this was a boring lobby “restaurant”. The steak was overdone and service was average.
Food and wine on the menu was not available. Starters then came at the same time as the main meal! The food looked like it had come from a packet and microwaved, dry, processed and unappealing. Following the disastrous main meal, we weren't offered a desert menu as the serve staff focused on prepping the dining room for the following days breakfast. They made it clear they did not want to offer desert or coffee, even though it was only 7:30 pm.This was by far the worst service, food and ambience we had the displeasure to experience in our time in Cairns.
