CBD | Cafe Bar Dining

The Wait Manager was very welcoming , friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our food that come out in a timely manner.I would recommend visiting CBD Cafe.

Cool vibe, nice lights, great service. Enjoyed the food and drinks. Shared a couple of small and large plates, nice variety. On the whole, an enjoyable experience.

Food was very nice but service quite slow. When we arrived they did not have our booking (I received an email confirmation) but luckily there was a table available that fit our group size.

To begin, a young lady was trying to field everyone’s needs. She was excellent. Along came three others and the woman who took my order ( older and presumed manager) was officious and curt. We were going to begin a tab but as the requirement was for the bar to hold my credit card, I didn’t. Very strange request from a credit card security aspect.

We were booked into a show at QPAC and booked our dinner at CBD cafe and arrived well in advance to have dinner. We waited nearly 1 hour for our meal which we had to hurriedly eat to get to our show - no time for dessert unfortunately. The wait staff gave us a free beverage, but we had to ask twice to speak to the kitchen to receive our meal. The restaurant needs to have adequate kitchen staff on a Saturday night to ensure that guests are not left waiting.
