This noodle shop located on Taiping Street is very famous in the local area. It has a history of more than 30 years and is an old shop. Locals like to come here to eat a bowl of noodle soup with barbecued pork and minced meat, plus sour mustard, pickled cabbage, chopped green onions. The noodle soup is sweet and tastes good and is affordable. In addition to noodle soup, the shop also has salty noodles, dumplings, wontons, roll noodles, soy milk, and fried dough sticks to choose from. There are many varieties, making it a good place for breakfast.

Today, although the Hongqi rice noodle shop has gone through some changes, whenever people mention it, they will only say "the one diagonally opposite the Baise Hotel on Zhongshan 2nd Road". The location has replaced the signboard. Some old Baise people who like rice noodles here ate at this shop decades ago, and decades later, when they want to eat, they still go to this shop.

It has been around for about 50 or 60 years. When I was in high school across the street, I would buy two crystal steamed buns every morning. They were very big and filling, but now they don’t make steamed buns. Every time I go to Baise, I go back to eat a bowl of noodles.

I always eat noodles when I go home. I like it so much that I go there every day. My husband who grew up in Jiangsu and my children who grew up in Shenzhen also like it. It is the most desirable food check-in place when I go home.
