lingliziAt noon, I had a simple meal at Yuanfei Weifang Restaurant on Youyi Street, east of Kuiwen Gate, south of Taihua City. The owner is enthusiastic, the location is superior, the transportation is convenient, the environment is clean and sanitary, the dishes are diverse, and the old Weixian dishes are basically available. The service is also good, and the price is moderate. It is an old chain Chinese restaurant.

If you want to eat traditional Weixian cuisine, go to Yuanfei Weifang Restaurant. The Kuiwenmen branch is located on the first floor of Taihua F Building, east of Kuiwenmen, Kuiwenmen Street, Kuiwen District. It belongs to the downtown business circle, with a good location and convenient transportation. There are Kite Square and Kite Museum in the south, Bailang River in the west, and Taihua Commercial Street in the north. The boss is enthusiastic and the service is thoughtful. There are special dishes with good taste. The special snack Chaotian Guo page is good and the price is moderate. Fried small tofu is also very good.
Today is the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the first lunar month. My friends invited me to celebrate the festival at my classmate's restaurant, Yuanfei Weifang. It is located on Kuiwenmen Street, north of the International Financial Building on Siping Road, and south of Taihua City. The restaurant is not very big, but it is very unique. My classmate gave the chef a holiday and cooked the dishes himself. We made the Lantern Festival dumplings together. The dishes were delicious and the Lantern Festival dumplings were sweet. I was so happy.
We went to Weifang in the summer vacation. There were six of us. We happened to catch the Shaqima Typhoon, so we had to change it to a trip of eating and drinking [sneak sneer][sneak sneer] I found this restaurant near where I live. I can just walk over. It's very close. Because it was raining heavily, not many people were eating, so it didn't feel messy to eat in the hall. The big plate chicken was well made, the portion was full, the meat was very firm, and it was especially tasty. I liked it at first sight [sneak sneer][sneak sneer] I haven't eaten sweet potato with candied silk for a long time. It still tastes delicious when I eat it. I didn't take a photo of the Chaotian pot. There was a lot of meat but it wasn't greasy. The meat fire was really good. The skin was thin and the filling was large. It was especially fragrant when eaten while hot. I'm drooling when I think about it now.
Located southwest of the intersection of Youyi Street and Siping Road, about 200 meters west, east of Kuiwen Gate. It's in a great location, south of Taihua Pedestrian Street, in the city center, and west of Kuiwen Gate, right by the Bailang River. You can enjoy traditional Weifang cuisine, and the owner is friendly and the service is attentive. The dishes are fresh and plentiful, and the prices are very affordable, only about 30 or 40 yuan per person. Picture 3 shows the Hele I brought for a colleague, to take away. 😋
Shandong people love dining in private rooms. Although there were about 10 tables in the main hall, we were the only one dining there, giving the impression of having the entire place to ourselves. The top 10 dishes on the menu were generally on the salty side. The top-ranked Weixian Five-Spice Pork was a complete failure and not very tasty. The stir-fried kidney had too much vinegar, making it so sour that I thought it was the kidney itself that was sour! I recommend the radish meatballs, which were good, and the Hele (essentially Shanxi noodles, but thicker and a bit tougher). The large steamed buns were very fragrant (I personally think they were hand-kneaded, without any baking powder).
