Stopped by for a late afternoon drink. The Skawskum beer was solid, went down easy while I sat outside watching people wander by. Cozy spot, nothing fancy, but the vibe works. Would've liked a snack menu to go with the beer, but the drink itself did the job.

The fish burger was surprisingly decent—properly filling for the price. I’d say it’s one of the better deals around. Service was friendly too, nothing over the top. Just a solid, no-fuss meal. Maybe not worth a special trip, but if you’re nearby, it does the job.

Nice outdoor spot, hidden from the street noise. Salmon tartare was good but the white wine felt overpriced for what you get. Portion could've been bigger for the price.

The three herring special was the standout — pickled, fried, and marinated, each one handled differently. Solid stuff. Service kept things easygoing too.

The 3-course vegan menu was such a nice surprise for Frederikshavn 🌱 Traditional flavours but all plant-based, really well done. Good spot if you're eating with friends who have different diets.

Decent coffee stop - raspberry cake was good, smoothie fine. Sofas comfy enough to linger a bit.

Came here for the lunch buffet and honestly it hit the spot. Classic Danish stuff, nothing fancy but fresh and well made. The place is small and cozy, staff kept checking in without hovering. Ate way too much, no regrets. Just wish they had more dessert options, that was the only letdown.

Solid burger spot in Frederikshavn 🔥 The Texas Burger with jalapenos was really good, and the kids' meal was a decent size. Service was quick too.

The burger was solid, and the fries were spot on. I had a nice glass of red that paired well with the beef. Chef actually came out to say hi and brought extra Sriracha when I mentioned I wanted more heat. That was a nice touch. Place got a bit loud later, but it was fine.

Been coming here for a while now. Veggie burger's still decent, though I do wish they'd add a few more plant-based options. Service was quick again today, place stays clean. That's mainly why I keep coming back, honestly. Consistency matters.

Food was decent — we had the grilled fish and it came out really fresh. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Place got a bit noisy later in the evening, but that’s on us for going at peak time. Pretty good overall for a casual dinner.

The fish of the day was cooked just right, flaky and fresh. We sat outside and it was super chill for a catch-up with friends. Staff were nice, not too pushy. Maybe a tiny bit pricey for the portion, but I'd still go back. 😊

The fish was properly flaky and the batter stayed crisp, which is honestly all I ask for. I sat near the window and the light was nice, but the chairs are a bit hard if you stay long. Service was quick, no complaints there. Decent spot if you're nearby and want something simple.

The herring on gluten-free bun was the standout — nice to see they take allergies seriously. Pairing it with a crisp white wine made the whole lunch feel effortless. Service stayed sharp even when the place filled up.

The sea view really is something else. I came for the food and stayed for the view, honestly. The wine pairing was spot on, matched the dishes nicely. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Just wish I had more time to sit there and enjoy it.

Pizza was solid and the staff friendly. Salad on top felt like a bit much though. They've got some good dessert and beer options worth checking out.

Tasting menu was solid, well-paced, and the host clearly knows the food. Relaxed vibe, no pretension. Good spot if you want a proper meal without the fuss.

Tried the Taste of Skagen platter — fried fish and lobster with garlic mayo were solid. Shrimp and ham leaned a bit salty for me, but overall a decent mix.

We stopped by with our dog—they let him inside, which is a big plus when it's freezing out. Coffee was solid, cake did the job. Staff seemed chill, didn't rush us. Fine spot for a quick break.

The 5-course menu was honestly a good deal for what you get. Portions are decent and the room stayed quiet enough to actually talk. Service kept it simple, no hovering. Fine for a relaxed dinner.

The food was spot on and the open kitchen is fun to watch. Service kept things moving smoothly. Busy spot though, so definitely book ahead if you can.

Gluten-free pizza here was actually decent—not the usual sad cardboard situation. They asked about allergies before I even mentioned it, which was nice. Crust held up well, toppings were fresh. Place was busy but they didn't rush us. Happy to have found this spot for when I'm in the area.

The hotel restaurant surprised me. The fish soup came to the table and they poured it right there—full of mussels, langoustines, and cod. Really fresh. I had the Atlantic sole with lobster and asparagus after that. Also good. Not cheap, but fair for what you get.

Dropped by for dinner last week. The duck confit was spot on—crispy skin, tender meat. Portion size felt a bit small for the price though. Still, the cooking technique here is solid, way above what you usually find in this area. I'd come back for the tasting menu next time.

Coffee was solid, and the staff sorted us a taxi to the ferry terminal without even asking. That saved us a good chunk of stress. Place was busy but we got our order quick enough. Fine for a stop before heading out. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Decent spot for a quick lunch. The fish tasted properly fresh, you could tell it hadn’t been sitting around. Sat outside, which was fine, though it got a bit smoky when the grill got busy. Prices felt fair for what you got. Nothing fancy, but I’d probably come back if I was in the area.
