Antipodean @ Mid Valley Review

Ordered their All-day Breakfast and Egg Benedict. They look very good. Taste very delicious. Price is reasonable. Environment is alfresco style. There are kittens playing near the greenaries. Very cute.

Once a while, indulging in a scrumptious breakfast can really make your day. Although the ingredients are common items in breakfasts served in many cafes, Antipodean brings a total different morning breakfast experience. Ordering from its blackboard Menu can be painful for an oldie like me. But, thank god I have someone to recommend me the Big Breakfast. This comes with savoury salty pork sausage, hash browns, a toasted bread (rye, I think), some scrambled eggs and of course the item I loved most - sauteed mushrooms. The salad I ordered was sort of "custom-made" as I asked the waitress to take this and that out, but I certainly take the liking for the fried cheese. So, salty but really yummy. With a cup of freshly brewed coffee, what can I ask for more!

Antipodean is a guaranteed hit for breakfast lovers. Its menu on the wall is seriously vast. It helped that the location manager was around to just give us the highlights and listen to our wishes. French Toast for me - as I always try French Toasts where these are available. My kids just want plain pancakes which unfortunately Antipodean just can't do. The pancake batter in Antipodean always have banana or coconut or something else. So for the purists, this could be frustrating. In any case, Antipodean has a varied selection of breakfast sort of dishes for any time of the day.
