It's impossible to imagine the urban landscape of Barcelona without the mind-bendingly original buildings designed by Antoni Gaudí in the early decades of the twentieth century. Combining an extraordinary imagination with a deep understanding of the organic forms of nature, Gaudí's cutting-edge buildings offer up a harmonious fusion of aesthetics and functionality rivaled by few architects before or since. It's a sure bet that you'll visit the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell when visiting Barcelona , but the prolific Gaudí also dreamed up a number of extraordinary residential buildings in the city over the course of his career. We have already taken a detailed look at the Casa Milà elsewhere on our blog, but this week we wanted to introduce you to what might be our favorite Gaudí building in Barcelona: the Casa Batlló. Rising as if from a dream midway along the stately Passeig de Gracia boulevard, the startlingly beautiful Casa Batlló stops passers-by in their tracks and soon transports them body and soul to another world - the vivid imagination of one of the century's greatest creative geniuses. Discover the story of this absolute masterpiece of Catalan modernism with us!

Very beautiful, Gaudi's extraordinary creativity, the whole house is exquisitely designed, the lines are flowing, the colors are soft, the imagination is rich, and the details are meticulous and shocking. It is very convenient to buy tickets on Trip.com and issue tickets quickly.

One day, Gaudi's "three-piece suit" was the first to visit. The demonic, childlike, strange color combinations resemble the palette of Impressionist painters, peaceful coexistence and gorgeous.

the excursion around the house has two parts. the second one- vip - takes you to the small part where they kept the furniture with other pieces to give one the true feeling of that times. anyway, even in the general part enjoy the light, the genuine celebration of Gaudi talent

the experience is great. the building is so old but well kept. it's beautiful not only from outside, but it is worth going inside. I would say, book in advance and rezerve your place, as the ques are long enough to send a couple of hours to get in. also. depending on when you travel, the outside building design is changing, lights, flowers r other motifs.

Also know as 'House of Dragon', one of Antoni Gaudi's masterpiece in Barcelona. A marine inspired, fascinating and glamorous building.
