Cihu Review

Because the environment here is very similar to Chiang Kai-shek's hometown in Cixi, Zhejiang, he chose the palace and the cemetery before his life. After Jiang Jingguo died, he also chose a nearby site, called the Daxi Mausoleum. The entire park consists of Cihu Mausoleum, Cihu Memorial Sculpture Park, Cihu Visitor Center and Daxi Mausoleum. Cihu Memorial Sculpture Park is probably the only place in the world where so many statues are gathered. It is said that after the death of the two Jiangs, Taiwan implemented "to go to Jianghua". Many areas in Taiwan removed the statue of Chiang Kai-shek. Later, someone paid for it and built this park in Cihu. So there are more than 100 statues of Chiang Kai-shek. It is a bit annoying to go to Cihu. If there are many people, it is recommended to rent a car. We take the Taiwan Railway to Zhongshao Station (the same time as the high-speed rail), transfer to "Treasure Island Good Line" to Daxi, the passenger round-trip fare is 100 Taiwan dollars, about 1 hour one way. The last bus departs from Cihu at 17:30. The whole tour takes about 3 hours.

Traveling to Taiwan, my family was in a group. We didn't want to go to Cihu, which was designed by the travel agency. There were coffins of Jiang's father and son, but the leader recommended them. Located in Daxi Town, Taoyuan County, Cihu Lake has beautiful mountains and rivers. It is very similar to Jiang Jieshi's hometown, Xikou Town, Fenghua, Zhejiang Province. After his death in Taiwan in 1975, Cihu was not buried. Its coffin was temporarily placed there, waiting for the time to return to his hometown. Before that, it was used as a pavilion, and later Jiang Jingguo's coffin was parked here. During the visit, we happened to see the guard changing ceremony, and the environment was quiet. The small and crude courtyard where the coffin was parked was impressive.

Cihu Lake is famous for Mr. Chiang Kai-shek's long sleep. It is divided into the former and the latter Cihu Lake. The lakeshore is charming and the Yangliuchuiqing Lake is quite beautiful in the south of the Yangtze River. At that time, Mr. Chiang named it Cihu Lake, which is similar to Fenghua's hometown in Zhejiang Province, and he missed his mother. He built a bank hall until his death in 1975. The front and back lakes in the park are connected by streams and rivers. They are surrounded by green hills in beautiful surroundings. The clear flow of Dahan River reflects around the turbulent zone, and the scenery is beautiful. It has become a small natural lake park. Every early spring in a green garden, flowers blossom and stroll among them like poems and pictures. The Mausoleum of Daxi is the tomb of former President Jiang Gong, which can be looked into and looked up to. In the direction of revival, there are many tourist spots along the way, which is also the tourism essence of Taoyuan County.
