Belgium and the Netherlands are famous countries for diamond polishing. The diamonds here are very delicate, many are directly sourced locally.

The Bruges Diamond Museum has a lot of valuable diamonds, and the museum is also a fun one, diamonds are very luxurious and there are also big diamonds in the museum here.

Absolutely not worth wasting time visiting this museum. The price, around 10 €, is absurd for a museum that needs 10/15 minutes to be visited and where most of the time it seems to be more in a jewelry store than in a museum. Considering that the Flemish Art Museum has a ticket that costs less is all to say.

It’s a small museum, honestly it doesn’t take long. There’s some interaction when looking at things under a magnifying glass. It’s on a few floors but not much to see. Some beautiful photos hang on a beautiful diamond wall. Maybe worth a visit if there is nothing else to see. It's okay, but I won't go again.

Want to know how to shape a diamond? Want to know how it is cut and how it is polished? Make sure to visit this museum. In addition to being able to see the process of cutting and polishing diamonds, the museum also describes how Bruges used to operate the diamond trade. The museum has a screen interpreter, English and Dutch for the language of choice, and visitors can choose their own language, and the screen takes at least an hour and a half. After visiting the museum, there is a jewelry store next door to buy favorite souvenirs.

A little distance from the market square, but it is worth looking at. It introduces a lot of history and knowledge about diamonds. There is a store next to the museum, you can buy diamond jewelry, you can also directly tax free, only need to leave the customs to stamp a seal, send the form back to the store.
