海上小火车的灵感就来源于此。到的时间尚早，这边的火车站很早就可以进去候车，两排的椅子看着很简陋却又极具生活情调。这时已经有列车停在站台了，可以随意入座，也可以把行李直接放在列车上，前提请认准是你将乘坐的那一趟，也就是所谓的“占座”。当然也要看准列车行驶的方向，反正我坐在火车行驶方向的左侧，已经晒化了。海边会出现在距离科伦坡城中心的差不多半个小时内，浪花此刻就在旁边，距离轨道不到5米的距离，完全无法想象如果要是下大雨，海水上涨，那这小火车是否还能继续前行。在能看到海的另一边却似乎是贫民居住地，虽然当下的第一个念头是“一半海水一半火焰”，但是看到升起的炊烟和孩子嬉闹的奔跑着……

这里的火车站很热闹，因为它的时该表很不准，我们买的是上午的火车票，可大家到了车站，涌入站台，直到下午车才来，不过还是对号入坐的。当地人坐车还是比较开心的，有唱歌的，谈实风声。尽管车站很老，火车也很破旧，但是很干净。火车上垃圾一点也不乱仍。都很自觉的仍进垃圾桶里。风气正的很好。

火车站非常有特色，就是火车的，那个时刻表就保留了过去的那种形式，有个时刻钟居然还不是电子的，标示的每一趟列车的发车时刻。老旧的火车，坐在上面，就像坐地铁一样，还没有门，太有趣的经历了，车票也非常便宜，去斯里兰卡旅游的话，不坐一次火车，你真的是会后悔了
