If you have short time in Tokyo you may skip this spot as walking inside the huge garden takes long time and not much to see. But if you have min 4-5 days to spend in Tokyo, you can spare 2-3hrs for this location. Beautiful garen though.

The Imperial Palace has served as the residential place of the successive Emperors since 1868. It contains the Imperial Residence and the Imperial Palace Complex, where His Majesty the Emperor undertakes official duties. Various ceremonies and public activities are held there too.

I went there on early November when the leaves were turning orange & yellow. The palace is so big. There’re parks inside the palace
