Kong Xiangxi House Review

The old house of Kong Xiangxi House, originally from Taigu Shishen Meng Guangyu, was built in the Qing Qianlong period. It was gradually expanded in the future. 宅院原系太谷士绅孟广誉的老宅，建于清乾隆到咸丰年间，是目前古城内保存最好的清代老宅。现存的建筑面积近6000平方米，难得的是保存了两座私家小园林。大院由多个横向排列的套院组成，每个套院均沿中轴线方向分割为多个四合院，颇有深宅大院之感。
