Le Chic Shack Review

So we went twice over 3 days, it was that good. Actually the first time was good but the second time was great. I had the burger with smoked meat (was that the "Le Du Fort"?) which frankly was one of, of not the best burger I have ever had. It was just brilliant. But they really do need to send the serving staff on customer service training. A smile and a "thanks" would be helpful, plus understanding how restaurant traffic flows may be useful! Saved by the food.....

Sometimes you crave a simple, home cooked meal - nothing fancy, nothing elegant, just quick, friendly service and relaxing atmosphere. These requirements will definitely be met at Le Chic Shack, situated at the top of the stairs from lower town and in the shadow of Chateau Frontenac.Great hamburgers, (your way) and fries- fabulous poutine made in the true Quebecois tradition, salads, and chicken burgers. Give it a try, it won't disappoint.

It took a while for someone to look at us, smile and seat us. It also took forever for the food to get to us or even to see a waiter. I understand the place was busy but still. As for the food, the maple chips were delicious. The mushroom poteine was pretty good. The veggie burger was okay. The beef burger was good.
