There are many temples along the street. We can only walk, skim, photograph and see... because our goal is the Xiangtong Temple, which is located in the easternmost section of the ancient city. We walked about 30 minutes from west to east to the confluence of the Mekong and Nankang rivers at the eastern end. In fact, the ancient city of Luang Prabang lies on the "L" Peninsula formed at the confluence of the Mekong and Nankang rivers, covering an area of about 10 square kilometers. The Mekong River in the north is relatively spacious, while the Nankang River in the south is very handsome. The Hotel and restaurant along the river make the ancient city glow with the appearance of a tourist attraction.
