Nam Van Lake Review

The Nanwan artificial lake reclamation project is a large-scale construction project officially started in Macau in July 1992. The total area of the project reached 175 hectares, of which the artificial lake (Nanwan Lake and Xiwan Lake) covers 80 hectares. The project has increased the total area of the Macau Peninsula by 20%. Nanwan artificial lake is divided into two parts: one is Nanwan Lake, with a music fountain; the other is Xiwan Lake, with Ronghe Gate and Macau Sightseeing Tower nearby, which is a place where couples often visit.
