The museum was converted into an 18th-century monastery, preserving Sicily's most valuable artwork and recording major archaeological discoveries in Sicily since the 20th century. Two statues of Zeus in the 2nd century BC are worth a visit, the decorative middle of the remains of Selinunte, with sculptures depicting Greek gods, telling stories of vivid humor.
