前身为上海塑料模具厂蜕变成今天的上海映巷创意工场。“形”不仅是整体外观的改变，更是一种新型工作状态以及生活理念元素的加入和转变。2008年被翻新改建成新型创意工场，风格式样以“泛视觉”为主导，以影视、时尚、艺术、创意为特征，以构筑视觉创作产业、时尚品牌、时尚传媒、广告设计、网络媒体与互动休闲为基础的创意产业。　　一期工程总建筑面积约10000平方米，共4栋楼。园区秉承了创意工场的一贯特点，利用老建筑、新创意的强烈反差突现时代特征。在改建过程中，除了保留原来的工业特征，穿插现代的设计元素外，上海映巷创意工场更注重整体的环境气氛及内容的多元化——藉由艺术为商业提升，并透过消费来改善生活，将自然、艺术、人性、生活、品味等元素有机地融合，使不同领域的艺术工作者和各类时尚元素在这里互相碰撞，激发灵感和创意，形成一种时尚文化的集聚效应，为创意人士提供更为人性化的办公、生活及休闲场所。

这个创意工场就在长宁区定西路717弄，靠近法华镇路，系旧厂房改建而来，融入了新的元素，以影视、艺术、创意为主。有四栋楼，建筑面积大约1万平米。

这地方不错，就在虹桥路地铁站，交通方便，里面还有小剧场。
