On weekends, there are dozens of tourists in them. It's a pity. To return to the truth, today we are introducing the Shikumen Museum of Art. The Shanghai Shikumen Museum is an old house built in the 1920s, which has been preserved and renovated. The whole exhibition hall was built according to the model of one household in the Lane Unit in the 1920s. The main exhibition rooms are seven, namely, living room, study, elderly room, master room, daughter's room, son's room and stove shawl room. The story of a family in Shikumen runs through the whole visit. It not only shows the unique architectural culture of Shikumen in Shanghai, reproduces the living space and lifestyle of Shanghai people, but also introduces the concept and transformation process of Shanghai Xintiandi project.

This Shikumen Museum is a original stone Kumen old house building remodeled, built in the 1920s. It seems that walking the progress hall is back to childhood. The main display is 7 rooms, namely the guest room, study room, elderly room, master room, daughter room, pavilion room, stove room, the whole exhibition hall is run through with the story of an ordinary Shikumen family, which makes people very substituting. [Most attractive point of view] The objects displayed in the museum are all old-time objects left in the Shikumen alley in the 1920s and 1930s. For example, old-fashioned sewing machines, old-fashioned typewriters, green lampshade lamps, kerosene lamps, hanging phones, ashtrays, hangers and toilets in the elderly's room, etc., can not only make old Shanghai people remember the past, but also let the children living in the new era look at the lives of their parents.
