The British Consulate at Takow Review

The British Consulate Cultural Park is a historical and cultural park located in Gushan District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The monuments are composed of consulates, consular residences and an ancient mountaineering road. The consulate is located at the sentry bow pier on the north bank of the mouth of Kaohsiung Port (Qingdao Dog Port). It was an important stronghold of the British government in the Qing Dynasty in the management of consular business. It is also one of the oldest existing Western-style buildings in Taiwan.

I went up without expecting it, but the iced tea sold there is so delicious, and the British Embassy is so beautiful.. Go see the sunset..

Can drink coffee... overlooking Kaohsiung port... worth visiting!

Transportation: MRT Xiziwan Station gets off (20 NT) and takes a minibus (15 NT) to the back door of the scenic spot, climbing a small section of mountain road is the real consulate, after visiting another way down the hill from the front door, do not go back. Ticket: NT$99. Drinks in it can be used for 30 front door stamps and free bus rides on the same day. Feeling: There are not many humanistic things here, but it's really a good place for sightseeing. Looking down at the beautiful Xiziwan Bay in the elegant antique buildings, it's so pleasant to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the sea and sky in a line of sunset while blowing the sea breeze. Unfortunately, I didn't arrange my time well for it to come in the morning. Food: Rose milk tea is recommended. There is a consular wife's British afternoon tea double set at NT$599. Limited supply feels great.

打狗领事馆最赞的是在半山上，可以看到西子湾全景，拍照很漂亮奥。玫瑰园的下午茶真的是超值，虽然有加收服务费，不过还是很值得，玫瑰味的冰淇凌惊艳到了，饮料也是，领事夫人玫瑰水喝完，嘴巴里一股玫瑰味。参观完可以去服务台敲章，这样当天的公交车都可以免费乘坐，很人性化的服务。个人感觉去打狗不用打车，捷运很方便西子湾终点站，无论1号口还是2号口，出站就有公交车，直接可以到，很方便。橘1或者99都可以到，而且人少，几乎享受包车的待遇
