A bit more of a club feel than Currumbin, better calamari (oysters better at Currumbin), Pork Belly excellent, Surf & Turf also good. Beers great selection on tap. Good value, staff friendly and welcoming. Doesn't have quite the same location kudos as Currumbin but pulls ahead on many other counts. Our go to venue in Tugun.

Just near the Gold Coast. Unexpectedly, you can eat Chinese food. The taste is not bad, a bit sweet. The price is acceptable. In Australia, it costs 5 Australian dollars to eat ice cream. Not to mention this famous tourist attraction. Here, the bus 🚌 the subway 🚇 are expensive and scary. It’s not far away, you can walk.

What more can I say, go grab yourself a beer and sit back and take in that view!!!! Great for the kids, better for the parents! Food is as good as a surf club gets but that's not why you go to surf clubs is it?

We have been here a few times now, being emerging-Tugun fans (despite the plane noise you get amazing clean beach and great food we have discovered ~ try Mitchell's Real Estate for some great local properties!). The Tugun Surf Club serves up a good array of typical SLSC-style fare. We had some excellent fresh barramundi, good burgers, Chicken Caesar salad and steak. It's well priced and well prepared. $6.50 150 Lashes Schooner? Holy moly this is a great price even if you do need to wait just a little for staff to find you around that circular bar. My 2YO was happy with her cheap spag Bol and friendly colouring placemat and colouring pencils went down a treat. We will be back for sure.

    1/5Terrible

Our family used to go here for lunch from time to time and always had an enjoyable time with a nice meal. I had been there a few months ago with a girlfriend for lunch and was disappointed to see that their nice menu had changed which I assumed was a change in Chef/Cook. Unfortunately we decided to go here for Mother's Day lunch! I know it's always chaos on days like this but this club is often pretty busy on the weekend so I couldn't understand why they were so dysfunctional. The girl who took our food order was abrupt and quite rude when asked a few questions about the menu then my husband accidentally gave her the wrong table number which when he told her the right number she said it couldn't be changed and that we'd have to watch the other table to look out for our meals. Our food was sub-standard and not cheap. My daughter in law had the vegetable lasagne which had no vegetables in it! It was just layer upon layer of pasta sheets with a bit of tomato based sauce over the top. I had the rib fillet steak with mashed potato and vegetables and red wine jus. The steak was okay but the vegetables was overcooked zucchini which were so sloppy and not much else and mashed potato which had clearly been reheated in the microwave as it was so hot I burnt my mouth! I thought for $29 it was a rip-off. We were seated on the balcony which had a great view but it was very noisy, it's much quiter sitting inside but then you don't have the view. Overall it was a disappointing experience ending with some lunatic drunk woman abusing my daughter in law and her mother for allegedly "taking her photo" on their phones which they weren't. I don't think we'll going back there anytime soon if ever!
