Xiangyang Ancient Temple was founded in 1575 AD, belonging to the Xianzong Buddhist faction, formerly known as Longquan Temple, which is famous in Liaoshen local history. It is said that before entering the customs of Qing Taizu Nuerhachi, he talked with the old abbot in Xiangyang Temple, felt life, Mao Suiton opened, and then seized the world and established the Qing Dynasty. In the Qing Dynasty cultural relics collected by Shenyang Palace Museum, there are more than 20 poems praising Xiangyang Temple. The original temple of Xiangyang Temple has been destroyed, and the present Xiangyang Temple is rebuilt according to its original appearance. It is located on the south bank of Xiuhu Reservoir in Qipanshan Scenic Area. It mainly contains buildings such as Daxiong Palace, Guanyin Palace, Temple of Heavenly Kings, Bell and Drum Tower and Archway Gate. Among them, the Grand Palace is the most majestic, it occupies the highest point of the temple, overlooking the overall situation and is magnificent. There are also landscapes such as Nianfotang and Xiangyang Spring. The entire temple is lush and solemn, and the layout is naturally undulating and scattered by the mountain.
