Donghu Hotel, the largest state guesthouse spanning over 2,000 acres, offers a unique experience. We stayed in a deluxe standard room at Tingtao Building 2. While the room facilities were comparable to other five-star hotels, the grounds truly set it apart. The serene environment, filled with birdsong and blooming flowers, is perfect for guests seeking tranquility. The hotel's east gate is just a 5-minute walk from the Donghu Tingtao Scenic Area. Tingtao Building 2 is also conveniently located about 300 meters from the east gate, and complimentary shuttle buggies are available within the sprawling property. A highlight for guests is the opportunity to book a visit to Chairman Mao's former residence daily at 9 AM and 3 PM. Unfortunately, our visit was cut short by rain, preventing us from exploring the entire estate, but we definitely plan to return.

Wuhan's cherry blossoms are beautiful, but the real surprise of this stay started with Mike at the Ruihua Hotel. Thanks to his thoughtful arrangements, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room directly overlooking East Lake. This led to an incredible experience the next morning: watching the sunrise from the comfort of our bed! 🌅 I have to say, the quality at Ruihua is consistently excellent, from the Dyson hairdryer and full set of L'Occitane toiletries to the unbeatable lake view outside the window – every detail makes for a comfortable stay. Being right next to Chu River and Han Street also makes getting around incredibly convenient. A big thank you to Mike for making this trip to Wuhan such a wonderful start. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Wuhan!

This was the most satisfying hotel of our trip, and I highly recommend it! The location is absolutely incredible, right at the entrance of Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, directly across from the Hankou Customs House Museum. It's super close to the ferry terminal, making it incredibly convenient to get to the Yangtze River Bridge and Yellow Crane Tower – just take a 1.3 yuan ferry ride across the river. The hotel itself is a beautifully renovated century-old Japanese Nissin Shipping Company building, filled with Republic of China-era charm. The atmosphere is fantastic, and it's perfect for taking photos in a qipao. When we checked in, the front desk even kindly upgraded us to a business king room and gave us a complimentary afternoon tea. The rooftop terrace offers great views of the river, making the whole experience truly exceptional. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. My family especially loved their pillows – we all slept incredibly soundly. We'll definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Wuhan!

Checked into Jing Shan Tian Mu Hot Spring Hotel, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! The hotel boasts a wide variety of hot spring pools, and the public areas are elegantly designed. The private hot spring rooms are also perfect for a small gathering. Besides soaking in the springs, there are plenty of leisure activities nearby, making for a truly relaxing stay. The service team was incredibly responsive, always ready to assist with any requests, and the front desk staff even kindly recommended local eateries. The hotel's environment is serene, surrounded by lush greenery. We had such a pleasant and relaxing day here, and I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

The cherry blossom season in Wuhan has been really popular lately, so my best friend and I finally got to experience our long-awaited trip to Wuhan. What made us happiest was booking this hotel! They offered an 8-to-1 butler service, which was incredibly thoughtful. We didn't have to wake up early; breakfast could be delivered to our room until 11 AM. They also included a complimentary travel photoshoot. The photographer gave us helpful posing tips. My friend took a while getting ready, and both the butler and photographer were kind enough to adjust our shooting time. Best of all, we got all the original photos – perfect for sharing beautiful shots on social media!

The service was pretty good overall; they even upgraded my room. However, the breakfast was really mediocre, and the breakfast lady had a very bad attitude. When I extended my stay, the toothbrush went from being boxed to packaged in a bag. I stayed for several days, and since my flight was at 8 AM, I asked for a late check-out. Around 3 PM, I overheard the housekeeping staff outside my door saying, ”Why haven't they checked out yet?” I paid for the late check-out; isn't that a consumer's right? The elevators were incredibly slow; I had to wait a long time every time. The TV couldn't screen mirror, so I was stuck watching the same few channels over and over.

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive. Although I didn't use the pool or gym, the environment and amenities are quite complete. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, and while the taste and local specialties might be a bit plain, they're still pretty good. Cleanliness: Tidy and clean. Environment: The hotel is very close to the Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, an excellent location. Being riverside, opening the window at night allows for a refreshing river breeze, and you can see the Yellow Crane Tower across the river. Service: The hotel staff were all warm, enthusiastic, and friendly. The manager even called to offer complimentary fruit to my room, making for a very comfortable stay. Aside from waking up late these past few days and having a packed schedule which meant I missed breakfast, it was an excellent stay in all other aspects. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I'm in the area.

I have to say that the soup house must be experienced. It has its own small pool, and you can soak it yourself at night and when you wake up early. The public hot spring pool is also very good, and the environment is also good. There are few people at the time we go, and the experience is very good. The service The reception is also very warm and attentive, and I will call in advance. Not bad at all, definitely not as terrible as some online reviews made it out to be. I gave the environment and facilities full marks because, despite being open for seven years, everything is still very well-maintained. For service, I only interacted with the front desk, so I can't give a full rating as I didn't experience other services. As for hygiene, there was used dental floss in the bathroom trash can from the previous guest, so it wasn't cleaned properly. Plus, as soon as I entered the room, there was an odor that was either mold or cigarette smoke, so I'm deducting 0.5 points for that.

Before checking in, I was a bit apprehensive after reading some negative reviews, but my overall stay was excellent! The room view was amazing! They even upgraded me for free to a Natural Tower view room. **Facilities:** The overall facilities are very smart, and there's even a robot that delivers items to the room, which is quite convenient. **Hygiene:** The bed frame was a little stained, perhaps due to extended use, but the room and bathroom were odor-free. The only thing is, they might want to consider changing the scent in the hallway; the current industrial smell is a bit strong. **Breakfast:** The buffet selection was rich and varied. I woke up a bit late and hit the breakfast peak, but the staff were actively trying to resolve issues. Overall, it was a good experience.
