extremely good location with private beach, excursion options and friendly staff highly recommend for budget travelling to Maldives. breakfast and lunch included. don't expect too much from the food as this price can't compare with those from private island. but as a budget trip in Maldives, it's an extremely good option.
The hotel is located on the beach. The layout and sea view of the high-rise rooms are very good. You can see the sea from the bed, which should be the ceiling of Dhiffushi Island. The facilities such as sea entertainment are complete, and the supporting restaurant is also very good. It would be perfect if the price was more affordable.
The room was spacious and offered a breathtaking view of the beach and sea. The proximity to the beach was incredible — we found ourselves enjoying the comfort of the room and relaxing on the balcony rather than spending time on the beach itself. However, the flooring was noticeably slippery, especially after stepping out of the bathroom with wet feet. We had to lay towels down to prevent slipping. This could be a concern for families with young children, as it poses a safety risk.
The service experience was underwhelming. The staff appeared rather stern and were not particularly welcoming. Additionally, breakfast was modest with a very limited selection and surprisingly, no local dishes were offered. If you have some flexibility in your budget, I would recommend exploring the nearby restaurants for a more satisfying breakfast experience.
I had a good stay at Kaani grand seaview. The hotel is perfectly located, right on the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but they could be better at communicating which facilities we have access to. On check-in I was told I could use the pool at Kaani palm hotel, but we I wanted to go I was told I couldn't use it. I was also told I could use the spa to shower since I had a late flight, but on the day I was told that I had to book a treatment to use the spa's shower. A part from that the room was comfortable and had a food view. The only thing is that the bathroom had a very bad urine smell. My overall experience was good and would stay here again.
I decided to choose this island for my honeymoon because I thought it was cost-effective.
Overall, the island is not that big, but we haven’t completely explored it yet.
Went there for 3 nights and had 9 meals at the same restaurant because we purchased the FB plan
Although the 9-meal buffet is a bit tiring at the end, it’s still okay to reduce expenses.
There are many places where you can refill water. It is important not to spend money to buy water.
The environment is quiet, with enough privacy. It's easy to call a shuttle. We stayed in the water house in the north.
There are so many fish in the water at night~!!! It’s very beautiful, and I even met a turtle once, I was so happy
Seize the opportunity and join a free snorkeling trip~~~ Yeah
The staff is very kind and friendly. I look forward to going there again.
Immediately about the minus. The refrigerator didn't work, although it can be seen as new. It was offered to use the refrigerator at the bottom of the hotel.
The hotel provides lying on request, in fact there are unpleasant nuances, on the beach you either don 't find or provide others for which local traders ask you to buy a cocktail. There is a TV in the room, but there is nothing to watch it, just a couple of local channels. TV is not smart that is strange for a 21-year hotel.
The rest is fine! The staff is very trying. Everything is new around.
Maafushi itself is not the best option to spend a full holiday on it. But it will be perfectly suited as a transit point between the islands or if it is necessary to wait for something in this country budgetally.
New resort on a paradise island. Great beach, liked the guys in water sports - all the equipment is new, working and the staff themselves are pleasant to talk to.
The staff in the main restaurant is very smiling. They greet you with drums and see you off wonderfully, very atmospheric.
Lots of food, good choice, delicious tuna, sometimes good meat. A lot of everything is included in the meal plan, for us it was even too much.
The room is very hot, you can't live without air conditioning. We were at other resorts - there the villas have higher roofs and thatch on top, protecting the villa from overheating. This is not the case here, the villa is burning hot in the sun. The villa itself is very simple, like a house at a recreation center in Russia) there was not enough opportunity to connect the phone to the TV, more modern sockets, chargers. The air conditioner in the beach villa hangs opposite the bed, it is almost impossible not to catch a cold. The room includes a lot of drinks, wine. I don't know who can consume so much. As for me, it is a bit excessive.
The hotel is new - there is no vegetation yet, it is very hot to move around the island, as there is no shade yet.
There are breakwaters on the main beach opposite the beach villa, I did not see them in the photo. In fact, they certainly save you from the waves, but they spoil the frame) for beautiful photos I had to go to the water sports area. But the island is wonderful! Although not big. This is our third resort in the Maldives, I hope to return someday if the resort grows)
This was amazing place, even despite coming in October during rainy season. Service was exceptional from the begging- person awaiting us on the airport, speed boat transfer late evening, with nice welcome and service (water/towels/wifi)
We arrived late evening, so dinner packages were ready in the room. All Incl package was nice however we missed some food in between breakf-lunch and dinner. Issue is wifi which was not working properly/everywhere. Normally i think its ok as we do not need internet on such vacations, but as we needed to work one day it was hard.
Again anyways. Great service. Hospitality of staff in restaurant and bar too. Also reception who gave us a chance of later checkout. It was very convenient as we travelled with 2yrs old toddler. Room was spacious, kept clean every day properly + water bottles delivered daily. Good snorkling trips for free provided daily.
Cozy, very friendly.
Time flew by.
The Maldives are not resorts, they are local islands with lively, friendly people.
Thank you, Rakip! Thank you, Tofajjel!
P.s. be prepared for the fact that there will be construction nearby. Sometimes very close. The islands are rapidly developing tourism, and for this you need infrastructure
Very beautiful! This island is relatively small, with few people and quiet environment. The service staff are very nice, the food is also very exquisite, there are snacks and fruits in the room, and there is enough drinking water. You can go swimming and snorkeling directly in the sea from the terrace behind the room, or you can pay extra to take a yacht to go snorkeling, which is nice~
