Our room had a slight smell to it but nothing an open window couldn’t fix.
Being on the floor at the entry to the hotel it was quite loud with the comings and goings of other guests.
I would advise to request a room upstairs.
The distance into Porto city centre was a bit of a trek but ok if you don’t mind walking up hill and stairs. Great to explore though.
The staff were very accommodating and especially quick with response to any queries we raised.
Veronica was very enthusiastic and painted all the useful information on the map. The location is very good and it is convenient to go there, and there are several restaurants on the side.
The room was big and bright, and most importantly it was clean.
Really grateful for the hotel in Portugal's first stop as so beautiful.
If you use a large suitcase, it is recommended to take a car to the hotel entrance.
Porto was an amazing stopover. Vincci Ponte de Ferro was a great choice for us being so close to everything we wanted to see but quiet for a restful sleep after s long day of exploring. The views from the hotel is not something we’ll forget for a long, ling time!
A very good hotel. The room is large and comfortable. A large bottle of distilled water is placed on the table every day. Slippers and laundry bags are provided (many hotels no longer have this). The bathroom is tidy and has shower caps, cotton swabs, and other items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste. You can get a razor and sewing kit if you need it. Everything is very considerate, but the two rooms are on the first floor. Open the curtain and you will see the corner of the platform. You can't see the outside street at all. The breakfast food is average, but it does not mean it is bad. I like it. Aspects: There is a beautiful expresso coffee machine, white wine is also served for breakfast, mini Portuguese tarts, fresh fruits, etc. The restaurant staff are friendly and polite.
There is a large shopping mall and supermarket in the basement next to the hotel. A little further away there is a very large and new Foodcourt called Mercado Bom, which has all kinds of food. We also had seafood platter and paella there for dinner two nights, it was cheap and delicious!
There is also a live show on Tuesday night, and the atmosphere is very lively!
The hotel had great service, including hotel information at the front desk! The breakfast area overlooks the city of Porto and has a great view. This is not limited to this hotel in Portugal, but there are no slippers or toothbrushes in the room, so you need to bring your own. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay in an upgraded room.
The location is on the riverside mountain, and it is inconvenient to travel. Because the hotel gate is a one-way road, the Bolt driver had to stop on the opposite road. Xiaoshi Road broke our suitcase dumplings. It takes more than 10 minutes to wait for the online driver to travel. When the return trip, the online driver is unwilling to press the order. The order was eliminated 4 times in three days.
+Very good location for visiting the city.
Comfortable room and good breakfast.
-Sauna wasn't working, tiny pool, no bathrobes or slippers provided. The room lacked a trash can, and the air conditioning couldn't be adjusted.
Front desk not as helpful as expected. Asked them to help me book dinners, never let me know if they manage to book for me. I was early due to change of flight. Requested for early check then says she will inform me so I waited. She didn’t make sure I didn’t wait too long. So I went for a walk and requested to text me when room is ready. She didn’t do that too. So service is not great
This hotel is in the perfect location for Porto with everything in the city within a 10 minute walk away. The inside of the hotel feels very relaxed and updated, and the reception staff are very helpful should you have any questions!
We always stay at NH collection hotels around the world and this was one of the best ones we have stayed at.
In all cases, it was comfortable and friendly, and the 4-day stay was good.
It was close to the city center, so I could go out and come back for a short rest.
The station was close, and the Balang Market was also close.
The food was also good.
Very Good
